We order from Riley's fairly often and are happy every time- both with the plant based and meat options. My kids love the zoomie... fries and impossible nuggets in particular. I was in the mood for hot dogs last night but I had already eaten dinner and it was a little late so I decided against it.... Suffice it to say I googled places in the area that may have good hot dogs. The search engine gave me a few places so I decidedto try out Riley?s. I was so stoked at how the food looked and was roaring to try it so I did the next day at lunch. I orderedonline abs walked down the way to give them a shot. My belly was rumbling when I got back. So I opened the bag and begin toremove the contents. I ordered a few options so I can try them across the board to see what they are working with. Ignore thepreposition?I tried the Carolina classic with a vegan dog, the Coney Cheese beef hot dog with vegan cheese, and some zoomieconey fries with vegan cheese. I was expecting some grilled carmelization on the dogs with a snap per usual qualifications of ahot dog in my book. I bit into the Carolina and the vegan hot dog was cold on the inside, so was the Coney beef hot dog. Thefries were ok but a little sweet for my taste. A few suggestions from me would be after the hot dogs are boiled or steamed toplace them on the grill to add that (in my Cookie Monster voice), ?brown food taste good? on the menu in other words to put someflavor on em??it would also help them to warm through the interior so a customer doesn?t get a cold dog. I can understand howthe vegan hot dog didn?t snap but the all beef one is some cause for concern. The toppings were underwhelming meaning the coneysauce and coleslaw. I didn?t get creamy from the coleslaw it just tasted like onions. The coney sauce didn?t have much flavor toit. Just punch it up. Maybe I?ll try a brat next time. Read more
Delicious food, great customer service. We came to Riley's in the mood for brats, so that's what we ordered. They were... delicious! However, since it was our first time at Riley's we also decided to order a hot dog (the F.I.B.) to give it a try...by far the tastiest hot dog we've ever had! I feel like the dog would still be delicious even if you just ate it plain, the meathad that much flavor. The buns were also soft and perfect. We will be coming back to Riley's time and time again! Extremely friendly staff, delicious plant based dogs and addictive zoomies!!! Try the maple mesquite seasoning on the zoomies,... it's insane!!!!! The pineapple Express brat with plant based sausage was hands down my favorite. The mix of pineapple relishand stone ground mango mustard was a delightful explosion of tropical flavor. Just visited Riley's Good Dogs for the first time. Well, this place actually has great dogs. I wholeheartedly recommend it as... everything can be served vegan or non-vegan. I picked up a Cubanito done vegan, and I loved how full of flavor the dog was,especially the slightly spicy mustard. We also tried the Zoomie fries, which were the perfect combination of crispy and fluffy.On top of all that, the staff are the kindest folks you could ever meet. We will definitely be back! Read more
