This Popeyes only gets 2 stars bc Popeyes is always delicious regardless. But if you go here, you'll wait 15 minutes in the... drive through even if you're the only one in line, and they are commonly out of everything. It's noon on a Thursday. They'reout of all sandwiches, they are all out of nuggets. You can order a 2 piece or an 8 piece. Also they're out of ranch. They willbe out of something you want, every time you go there. But again, Popeyes is ALWAYS delicious. Their manager just needs toorder the right supplies and either hire more people or teach them how long a drive thru should take. Additionally, the teamis often unfriendly. I don't really care about the friendliness myself, as long as they have the chicken in stock. Today I went to two different Locations of Popeyes and the line was long and they didn't have no chicken ready customer service... was very poor. Popeyes is not the same ever since the pandemic. Read more
Congrats to this location.. Wish i could give you zero stars.. Half of the food I wanted to order, they did not have in stock.... Menu located behind the counter to use to select from was broken. I placed my order to go and after driving home for 20 minutes,i realized NOT ONE DAMN thing was right.. Even the soda was wrong, and staff was giving me dirty looks and not sure why, otherthan I am deaf and had issues communicating, but was NEVER rude about it.. I used to be such an avid fan of Popeye's, but dearcorporate, tear this trash shack down and rebuild it up to what your standards used to be, and why can other food places findgood employees and you end up with everyone else's rejects ? This was a horrible experience. We were trying to grab a bite to eat before we hit the road. Waited in line for over 40min... because we were trapped and then we saw an employee and asked what was the problem? Are you all taking orders? He claimedthey were backed up do to Uber eats and grubhub orders. Then finally one of the vehicles in front of me maneuvered their wayout allowing others to do the same. When I tell you the line was wrapped around the building and out the lot onto the street itis not an exaggeration. Sat in drive thru for 20 mins. Finally get to the order station and was told that they don't have any chicken left. Asked what... do they have and customer service rep says they are closing right now and don't have any food at all to sale. It's 9:04 and theydon't close until 10:00 per the time on the payment window. Just ridiculous. Read more
There is ALWAYS a long extended wait. There is ALWAYS an issue with the chicken supply. No Fresh food. Today the chicken was... cooked in burnt/old grease. And my daughter and I were willing to wait the final 12 minutes for fresh food. However, the foodwas not fresh, no biscuits burnt looking chicken. I'm not sure what's going on but this tour of service is happening at variouslocations. Quality customer service has really reached an all time low. I waited in the drive through line for over 30 minutes. Lobby was locked. Each car took at least 5 minutes at the ordering... speaker. Person taking orders was difficult to understand. First words were, ?Did you order?? At least I think that was what shesaid. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. I think she may have said ?exact change only? but again I?m not sure. I used a creditcard. The sandwich was not great. It tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. The chicken was dry and did not comeclose to filling the bun. The pickle had softened and lightened the breading on the chicken piece ? because it had been made solong ago. Of course there were no napkins in the bag. No receipt either. No communication at the window at all. And the littlespinner window thing was filthy. This was at the location on Capitol, but the one on National is just as bad if not worse. Ikeep saying I won?t go back to any Popeyes because every single one in the Milwaukee area is like this. They are either slow asmolasses or are out of what you want to order (which you find out after you have sat in the line for 20 minutes or more). Idon?t know how this chain is staying open with this kind of service. I guess it?s because people like me like fried chicken andkeep hoping the next time will be better. I?m out of hope though.
