This was my first experience with pepper pot on Villard & Appleton . I was on my lunch break to check it out. Got back to work... to only be disappointed. Egg roll was fried to hard. I won't be back. I took it back and the cook stated what do you want meto do? would have been nice if you gave me my money back or said the next time you come I will make it better. Poor customerservice ????. The ambiance was serene. Food cooked to perfection. The coconut mashed potatoes are excellent.

I enjoyed my experience. The staff was friendly. Lots of reviews state issues with wait time. My party of 3 arrived around 730... on a Thursday night and we were seated right away. Hot food was brought to our table within 20 minutes of ordering. The food waswell prepared and flavorful. I will likely eat here again. Read more
The egg rolls are good but the service is awful. The heavy set guy with locs got an attitude with me just because I asked how... much longer for my food.I got an oxtail dinner for 22.00 and 2 chicken eggrolls. First time trying Pepper Pot Catering and here's my review.... Over all, I would got there again, and could've have been not... there best day... Small little take out spot with no room for dinning in, the menu was small but had don't great options likeoxtails, curry goat, jerk chicken and three different rolls to choose from. Food: I ordered the jerk rolls and jerk chickenaround lunch time, no wait at all (5 minutes), food was hot(fresh) nice size rolls but was lacking jerk flavor and the cabbagein the rolls could have been chopped up for a better bit.
