The waitress behind the bar was super short, even though she offered menu suggestions she seem uninterested. The first thing out... of her mouth was ?do you know what you what to eat??, not ?hello, how are you??. Blah?.. The bar wasn?t busy at all, in facthardly any people in there. The pork belly was decent, but the beef on a stick was very dry. When I ordered the drunken noodlesI was asked my spice level. 1-5, I of course picked 5 and it wasn?t spicy at all. Always a great experience. Awesome = pho, beef on a stick, chicken satay, lemon grass pork chop, ginger steak, kimchi. Not so... awesome = fried meatballs. Note = Dumplings only have a ball of meat in them. Not ground, as it stated it did. More like apatty. Would be better if it had viggies in it as well. Read more

I remembered enjoying eating here so I came back at long last. I stopped for a late weekday lunch when there weren't a lot of... customers and got a spot at the bar. I had a cup of tom yum with veggies and the drunken noodles with tofu. You can pay extrafor protein in the soup but I liked it with just veggies. The sour and lightly sweet clear broth is what it's really aboutanyway. It was refreshing with the crisp vegetables. I ordered my noodles at spice level 4 (out of 5) and they had a nicesinus-clearing kick without the spice overwhelming the dish. They had a nice aromatic flavor from the basil and there was plentyof contrast between the thick noodles, stir-fried vegetables, scrambled eggs, and the tofu. I like the bar seating because youcan watch people on the street. Will have to come back again. Read more
