I honestly do not know why El Greco would receive anything less than 5 stars! I have been coming here for the better part of 25... years and it is always reliable for a filling meal. My wife and I came here over a year ago, as I talked it up. However, thisrecent trip was for breakfast and did not disappoint. She got the bacon eggs benedict and I got the meat lovers skillet. Shethen got a sticky bun and a bearclaw to go. The eggs benedict were a massive portion and the sauce was almost too thick andrich, but she made do! The meat lovers skillet was amazing as it was SO full of sausage, ham, and bacon! If you like meat, thisis the one for you! The sticky bun and almond horn were nice and sweet, making for a good aperitif. The dessert case is so fullof goodness that we wanted a bit of everything. Too bad we had other plans for today and it would have gone bad. When inMilwaukee, make sure you stop by and get some heaping portions and great dessert! Read more

Nice casual diner on the north side of Milwaukee variety of good food. I love coming here and getting the chicken breast skillet... one of my favorites very delicious, nice size portions and very very tasty! The food was average and earned both of the stars. The price was too high for the quality of food. The service however was the... worst. The server was rude and unhelpful. She acted like the customers were idiots. The staff argued in front of the customers,overall negative environment. They have wide vsriety of food on the menu and serve hefty portions. I had the chicken pot pie from the daily specials. ... Strawberry cheesecake was amazing! Service from our waitress was the only negative. It was really crowded. Read more
My boyfriend called, placed and order for pickup and asked for the French toasted to be doubled dipped, because it has been sold... to us as browned toast. There is a very little to no egg mix on the French toast. I have pictures to serve as evidence. Read more
