Delicious Middle Eastern option. Not much ambiance but food is so tasty. Be patient, all food scratch made with limited... staff. Our party of four was one of only two tables seated on cold Saturday night but they were also moving a fair amount ofcarry out. Son ordered the vegetarian app sampler. I got the two children skewers, probably the best flavor I have haveexperienced with chicken. Wife and other son got the two skewer sampler and side of lentil soup. All included delicioushummus. We enjoyed tremendously the Falafel sandwich. It was a very generous portion and with great sauce. Also the kibbe is fantastic,... accompanied with the homemade Lentil soup with pita croutons. However if you are knowledgeable with the Levante cuisine ( aka.Syrian Lebanese) make sure to request the Kibbeh hot ( burgul, ground meat balls stuffed with cooked meat with onions, pine nuts& spices) and not at a room temperature. Great salad topped with meat kebabs! Yummy?mm! Hummus was GREAT as well theirhomemade thin bread is delicious ( wish it was hot off the oven) Turkish coffee was delicious as well; again request it to behot as well. Finally made it to Damascus Gate and I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing, fresh, and flavorful and reminded me of my... travels in the Mediterranean. We ordered the Damascus Tour, which was great for a group and still left us with leftovers. TheMousakaa was phenomenal and my favorite dish. Best falafel I've had in Milwaukee! This restaurant has great and authentic Syrian food! The restaurant itself is a little meager and spartan but the food is so... fantastic that it's a must if you want genuine Middle Eastern food. Get the sampler! Read more

Spectacular food and service! Ordered catering from here for my son's birthday after trying it at another party. Food was hot... and came on time, was excellently priced, and the portions were incredibly generous (we have leftovers even after giving awaymultiple boxes of food). The food is amazing and delicious, so aromatic, and even typing this out is making me crave more! Meatwas tender and juicy, rice was expertly seasoned, and the desserts were so good I forgot to take pictures. Owners and staff areso humble and it was a pleasure dealing with them for our special event. I 100% recommend them to anyone looking to tryexcellent middle eastern food, or to anyone looking to cater food for a party.
