This is a great spot! My husband and I enjoyed all of the food - but especially the appetizers. The sauce used in the shishito... cauliflower dish made it stand out as our clear favorite. However, if you do not enjoy spicy food I do not recommend it. Thegarlic chili shrimp also had great flavor and it was not quite as spicy. We also enjoyed the kfc wings. All three of theseappetizers were delicious, largely due to their A+ sauces. The vibe is a trendy one. This spot would be good for a meet up withfriends or date night. If you have time, I recommend also swinging by the upbeat cocktail bar next door, Tied House Milwaukee, for drinks before or after your meal. They have an awesome patio in back and a good selection of drinks (ranging from funcocktails to beer and wine.) Read more

Great atmosphere. Friendly, quick service. Scallion pancakes (w/ seafood) were some of the best we’ve had. Delicious melt in... your mouth pork belly. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back. Read more

First time going on Monday and it was AMAZING! Inside was very clean and great atmosphere. We didn’t have a reservation but... not a lot of people and they said it was fine . Got seated and had a very nice waitress. Our app. Was the dumplings. Very good. Our dinner was great! They give a good portion of rice and fresh Romain lettuce if you want to make lettuce wraps with yourfood ! Which I thought was a great. I was even impressed with silverware options even chopsticks that weren’t wood ones .Tried their galaxy lemonade recommended by the waitress we had . So freaking good! We Left full and happy. Me and my boyfriendare already making plans on when to come again. Thanks for an amazing experience And thanks to the cooks for a great meal ! Read more

This place is awesome.. First of all, for the quality and portion.. So underpriced. I brought my family from Korea and they... really loved it to a point that they said they would recommend it. The drinks were so fancy yet so well crafted. Chef Mike islike such amazing cook, every food was on point and we were so sad that some of us couldn't finish the food. The servers are soattentive and nice too. I'm definitely bringing all my friend here. Thank you for an amazing time for my family!!! Read more

Apparently I’m a Korean food purist. I like what this place is doing and the food was good, but I’d prefer something more... original. Our server was fantastic! I found the vibe itself lively and it had an overall fun atmosphere. I’d probably goback. Read more

This is a cute quiet restaurant. When you first walk in there's a full bar (it was so cold I forgot to take pictures ???? please... forgive me). You walk up a few steps into the dining area. I love the atmosphere. It's not too bright, so it's easy on theeyes. The decoration on the walls are very nice as well. We sat down in a corner towards the right. That area was pretty muchempty.. It soon got crowded but that was okay. Seems like a popular restaurant. It was mine and my coworkers first time there. Acute waitress by the name of Fiona helped us. Fiona seemed really nice. She took her orders and soon left. I can tell that shewasn't very familiar with the Korean dishes, but that's okay. Our dishes came relatively quick. The food was pretty amazing. My friend ordered the pork belly. And Fiona brought out some traditional side dishes to go with the pork belly. The side disheswere red leaf lettuce and a couple of sauces. One sauce in particular is called Samjha in Korean. Fiona said it was called Sam.Perhaps that's what they call it here at Char'd. No biggie. Maybe they do things differently. Nevertheless, it was tasty. Soonafter that's when we realize that either Fiona was very busy or she just wasn't very attentive. I would have gave the restauranta five stars but we could barely get a Fiona. If the hostess didn't come to refill the waters then we would have gone thirsty. Iasked Fiona in the beginning if they had Korean tea, and she responded yes. I asked her if it's oloong tea or another type ofKorean tea. She didn't seem to know, but did say it was Korean. I ordered it. When it came I found out that it was just greentea ????. I would have never ordered it if I had known it was green tea. All in all I give the restaurant a four stars. Perhapsafter a while Fiona will get up to par. It was even hard to get our checks to pay at the end. We ended up getting two separatechecks and we were charged the wrong items. It's okay to forget. After she dropped Read more

Nice spice level in the items marked as spicy. The KFC wings and dumplings were awesome. The pork bulgogi was tender and spicy.... Everyone enjoyed their meal. Read more

The interior is really modern. The staff was really nice, and the menu isn’t huge but the options were pretty good. I got the... spicy braised pork rib which came out on a sizzling platter but was somehow still cold…and not the least bit spicy. Theveggies were cooked through underneath the ribs, but the meat was room temperature and dry. The appetizers stole the show, honestly. Overall, I would definitely go back to give it a second chance, but the only reason I give this place 4/5 stars isbecause the staff was super friendly and the restaurant itself, along with all the details, were pretty nice.
