Booked a reservation for my brother’s birthday and it was a great experience. Our server was helpful and patient, given that... it was our first time. Everyone was so attentive to our table. My glass of water was not empty for a single moment and the staffwas very professional. I highly recommend Carnevor, not only because the service was great, but because the food was too! Handsdown one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! I got a well done Filet Mignon and I can’t get over how delicious it was. Carnevor is hands down one of the best (arguably the best) steak joint in Milwaukee. We went with the Australian Wagyu Filet... and the Dry aged Rib Eye and both were amazing. We also had mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and butternut squash soup to gowith it. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar are both great, making for and all around unique and enjoyable experience. The prices are on the higher end and they match the quality of the food and the experience. I would highly recommend givingCarnevor a chance if you can. Enjoy Local! Read more
The best lobster bisque anywhere in the country! They specialize in high end Wagyu from America, Australia, and Japan. No one... else offers cuts like these so don't even bother looking. Cocktails are awesome, the people are great. The shrimp cocktail isgiant, desserts are made from scratch. Truly an amazing steakhouse. What an awesome experience! I wanted to take my boyfriend out for a nice dinner on his birthday. Absolutely exceeded my... expectations and the staff was amazing! Can't wait to return. The valet parking is also extremely nice for only $7 so you don'thave to worry about finding a spot. Next time we will venture into the more expensive cuts of meat as we now have something tocompare it to. We got the filet mignon, bone in filet, lobster bisque, bone marrow as a starter, Mac and cheese, and the creamedcorn for sides. Read more
The staff was fun, engaging, and professional, and multiple times at our table, the words, “this is the best steak of my... life” were shared. Would recommend and will be back! The environment is modern and well decorated, but I found the chairs tobe uncomfortable for a 2+ hour meal, and the place was SO LOUD—on a Wednesday night even. We had to *yell* across the 4-persontable to have conversation. Certainly not an intimate steakhouse ambiance, but more tolerable if you have a few drinks in you. Read more
