Second time going to this restaurant and had a chance to be greeted by Mr. Benny himself. The food overall is great and... excellent but the waitress who was also sweet and nice bought my receipt and it blew us. I was charged $4.95 for a half cup oforange juice twice for two people each resulting in $20.00 of just half cup of orange juice. I loved the environment but theprice of the juice is outrageous and I will not be ordering drinks. Read more
My sister has been bringing members of our family here for some time now. Her most recent trip here included my dad, other... sister, my daughter, her boyfriend and myself. In this group there are 3 vegans which the waitress handled beautifully. Theportions here are large and prices aren't bad either. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The waters never ran drythanks to multiple people stopping by to top them off. If you are looking for a place to gather don't hesitate to give thisplace a try. Read more
My fiancé and I come hear nearly every weekend! Benny?s is a quaint diner with excellent breakfast-though all of the food we... have tried has been great! Staff and flow of the restaurant are very efficient. Also, their soups are awesome! They have a drivethrough, so we often do grab and go if we don?t feel like cooking but also don?t want to be out and about. We have never had towait for a table, and the staff is friendly. This cafe was great! I'm from out of town and was looking for some tasty comfort food and a place that felt like home. Benny's... has all day breakfast and pretty much any other kind of food you can be craving. I had the corned beef hash with eggs over easy.My waitress and the hostess were very kind. Before arriving to Benny's Cafe I was excited, I had never been here but I know some family members that always come here. I... read some of the reviews and was very much looking forward to enjoying the friendly staff everyone seems to love. My party wasa group of 8 people and we had called ahead of time to make a reservation for noon. We were all there at noon and quicklyenough we were asked what we'd like to drink. In my party there were a few special drinks and a few sodas. After a few minutesall the specialty drinks arrived but there was no trace of our sodas. You'd think a Mountain Dew would be fairly easy to get. I did not get my drink until about 12:30. The waitress however didnt' ask us what we'd like to order to eat yet. We figuredshe wasn't ready yet and would come right back. We did not see our Waitress until about 1PM. At which point I was alreadyfairly upset. If they didn't want to take care of us, they should have just told us, we could have found some other place to goto. It simply shouldn't take 1 hour for someone to take our order. The place wasn't even busy, most tables were empty. Ataround 1:10 I did get the soup that would go with my food. I was happy to see that the food was at least coming out faster. The bread for the soup however was not a good experience. Felt like bread that had been made a few days ago. The soup itself,lots of flavor but too much salt. I love salt, a lot, so I did drink the cup but even I thought it was a bit too much. Someof the people in my table had salads, some got the wrong dressing, not going to complain about that because it's a simple error,easy to fix. One member did feel like the salad was too wet, adding the dressing looked like dressing soup. By 1:30 I wasstarting to get upset again because we had not seen our waitress. I remember coming here when they first opened and then for some reason, didn't get back for a long time. Everything is still as... good as I remember. Excellent soup, portions, service, just everything. I had the chicken dumpling soup and fried chickensandwich. Both were excellent. I will be making a point to come back more often.
