Ok. Gets great reviews as it?s one of the few places left that is mom and pop food. However, the food is not well seasoned so it... is bland, the mashed potatoes are runny and the gorgeous rolls have little flavor and have the texture of having been frozen.Service is hot and cold. Food usually comes out fast but not every waitress is attentive so it varies. So far food has neverbeen ?hit?. Lukewarm so it?s super cold by the time you finish. Such tasty home cooked food. Wonderful service. They have many great items. The Mac and cheese was delicious. Stuffing was so... moist and made uniquely. We had a wonderful server named Brittany, she so attentive. I will definitely be back. The salad barwas well stocked and had many great homemade choices. My country fried steak melted in my mouth. It was bad. Myself and 2 friends went in for an early dinner. The food was good ...but...we sat beside a window that had several... busy flies gathered round. Between fighting off at least 10 to 15 flies and also our waitress didn't check on us one timeBetween our drink and meal. She even brought the check with the meal to avoid an extra trip. I had ordered coffee. The cups arevery small. I waited patiently then waited and waited some more. I finally took my coffee cup myself to the kitchen for arefill. The whole experience was nothing to brag about. I wondered if there were flies in the kitchen??? Nice dinner, goodcompany, surroundings and service...minus one star! Read more
Can actually sit down. I eat here a lot. Breakfast is what you expect. Staff is always friendly. They try hard. I have had... way more good than bad meals. Occasionally not up to par, but always better when I go back. Soup bar is good. Read more
Sundays are very busy because this place is very popular the food is awesome and the service is great. Well worth the wait!
Great little cafe/restaurant. Reminds me of a mom n pop place. Lasagna had a little spice to it, we think it was the meat in it.... It was good but wished it had more pasta to it. The open faced turkey was to die for. We both loved it. Great gravy, perfectbread and the dressing was a nice addition. The turkey was not dry at all and I don't like white meat, but it was really good.Will definitely be back during our stay. Can't wait to try their breakfast! Read more
Every time I come here, it is a terrible experience. This evening?s visit is the last straw. All four of our meals were wrong.... Service was, as expected, very slow. I sent my easy sandwich order back and after a very long wait, it came back wrong a secondtime. I told them I didn?t want to wait any longer, and for my money back. I left a good tip and paid the bill, and went to thenearest fast food restaurant instead. I keep giving them another chance because they are the only home cooking food restaurantin the area. I want to like it, but I?m not going to give them another chance anymore. How are they still in business? Read more
