The General Store has home-made... fudge and packaged candies and toys that I thought were discontinued long ago. It was good pizza. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and we over ordered, but it was good so I tried. Too far of a drive to... come over regularly from Pensacola, but we will definitely stop in here again when in the area. It's right in downtown, sothey're very near any events on the Blackwater or when hitting up the other shops, bars, or restaurants in Milton. Read more

This place is amazing!! It not only has a retro look, but before you get to the pizza you walk through a store full of retro... toys, games, candy and displays. Their is a counter full of fudge, cookies, candies, cakes all made right there in shop. Theyalso have a little corner of merchandise from the locals (the candles smell good enough to eat) they you get to hostess standwith a super cute little waiting area for the kids with retro toys to play with...... The food is SO good we got a cheese pizza,their buffalo dough-knots and a calzone. The dough is made in house (you can watch from the front window) the flavors werevibrant and the service was friendly and all around great!! The kids thought it was amazing!! Read more

We are new to Milton and wanted to try a new pizza place instead of eating one of the chain pizza places. Boomerang Pizza was... good and when I went in to pick up the pizza I saw what a neat place the restaurant is as well. We will definitely go back todine in sometime so my family can see everything the general store has. It's very neat and I would love to try some of thefudge! Read more
Man I wanted to give 4 stars but just couldn't do it. Let me go over pros first. I brought my daughter for a daddy daughter date... night and we genuinely enjoyed ourselves. The pizza did have good flavor and the wait staff was prompt and courteous. Theatmosphere is whimsical but more on that in a moment. Now the cons, while the pizza had good flavor I could have taken a bath inthe grease pool that was on top of it. The sauce was wildly delicious and it was a shame it was washed put by such a heavy layerof grease. The atmosphere is whimsical but the decor could use some updates. While it is overall clean it felt like a back alleyrestaurant instead of a quaint downtown restaurant like I would expect given where it sits. The front shop is great and ouroverall experience was good but I couldn't bring myself to give 4 stars simply because of some easy fixes they could make toenhance the experience. Read more
Fabulous place with a great 50s vibe! Food is delish! Garlic knots for appetizer, white pizza for main course! Great family... friendly environment! Staff was excellent! Only got half mushrooms on the pizza and waiter was very considerate to ask who wasgetting mushrooms to make sure that side faced them. Read more
