Wow this spot is so under rated, never had a mistake with my order, phone orders take about 10 mins and food is always fresh.
I have been a bean and cheese burrito fan for years. The Burrito Express has a superb example of this great, nutritious meal.... Excellent flavor for both the cheese and refried beans while the flour tortilla was a delight by itself. One of the best I havehad. Read more
Seriously, this was the worst meal of any type I've had in 4 months in the Bay Area. The restaurant itself was dirty and the... young man working at the counter was outright rude, but I can handle that if the food is good. Unfortunately, the food itselfwas almost inedible. The taquitos were soggy in the middle and over-fried on the ends, but there was no taste to the meat atall. The guacamole was completely tasteless, as well. Also got the burrito and man, it was seriously awful - no salt orseasoning and the meat was stringy and tough while the rest of the ingredients just looked like mush. I ate 2 of the 4 taquitosbefore I gave up. Didn't even eat 1/4 of the burrito. I would never go back here and do not recommend it at all. You'd be betterserved by choosing any random Mexican restaurant in the area than this place. Read more
Very simple ingredients but very tasty, chicken enchiladas was very moist, cheesy and delicious. Burrito was heavy, packed with... shedded pork, beans, cheese and rice. Very friendly and fast service, totally worth trying! Read more
The spot is really good, I enjoyed dinner here with a friend a couple of years ago and am now realizing how much I miss the... eateries of California such as this. My body needs fuel and this is tasty as such; I should not have worried as much about thefact that the gym I worked out at was next door, my body needs fuel and this Tex-Mex burrito spot is 100 times better thaneating a body building bar. Absolutely delicious Mexican place which is authentic and affordable. Their portion sizes are generous and the best part is that... 3 meats are halal - Chicken, Steak and beef. The owner is really friendly and the place was clean. Service was quick andefficient. Really liked the steak chimichanga which was a bunch of beans, meat, fresh tomato, lettuce, sour cream, shreddedcheese and sauce wrapped in a crispy dough wrap. You can order it with rice and beans or fries - they are very accommodating andare willing to adjust according to your taste. We also liked the chicken burrito which had cheese and fries and a sauce in it, abit milder but you can get hot sauce on the side if you want. They have Mexican coke which goes very well with the food. I cantell this is a local favourite - the number of people trickling in and asking for their usual seemed to demonstrate that thefood is good and the place has been around for a bit.
