Decent live pani puri stall ruined by mediocre appetizers and no importance to food safety/quality testing! Tried pani puri,... hyderabad dum biryani, rasmalai, Apollo fish and chilli chicken from this restaurant. Biryani was okay. Apollo fish and chillichicken were basically the same thing except for protein. Both of them, however, were filled with onions and bell peppers. Goodluck finding some protein in there. Live pani puri (gol guppa) was decent but not worth the hype. Rasmalai was a disaster!Terrible mistake even trying it out. I was shocked to see a plastic piece while eating. Just glad I didn’t choke on it. And Ithink it costed around $5-6 for 2 pieces. I strongly suspect they use packaged rasmalai which costs $10-12 for 10-12 pieces andthey don’t even do a good job with that! Even though I ordered for take out, staff at the billing counter were not veryfriendly either. Wouldn’t order from here after this experience. Don’t recommend this place at all. Read more

The biriyani was disappointing and was soggy(?) The restaurant refused to provide drinking water and said to buy water if I was... thirsty, really? and after lots of argument they gave in and provided water. Baby corn fry was too spicy and soggy, notcrisp. Do not recommend at all. Read more

I ordered paneer biryani today and I couldn't finish it. It was just too too too salty! This is after adding the lime and raita... too! Flavor was there but the salt in the curry just overpowered the paneer and other flavors. It was like I was eating salt.Great portions but just too salty. Read more

For a place that has Biryani in its name, they have absolutely pathetic biryanis. The meat in vijayawada chicken biryani is dry... and chewy, with overpowering spices that sadly achieve no flavor. If you have a Biryani craving, stick with Paradise or cryyourself to sleep if they are closed. On the other hand, and quite surprisingly, their Indo-Chinese dishes are actually decent, and hence the two stars. Try their Apollo Fish and Chilli Chicken. For to-go, do check your order before leaving as theyfrequently seem to forget items. Read more

Best pani puri I have ever had. So they have a stall outside of Biryaniz Milpitas and the stall is only of pani puri. This is... authentic Indian street food, round-shaped deep-fried crisp crepes filled with spicy tangy water, tamarind, chili, chickpeas andtamarind. Panipuri, or phuchka, has different names in different Indian regions. Love the taste very very delicious. Read more

Hands down, one of the best paneer biryani hotspots in the bay area. Our visits to the bay area are never complete without... eating here! However, during our last visit, I noticed that the flavor isn't the same anymore. It's getting blander and lessspicier. I hope they can get back to their usual standards soon! Also love the street style Pani Puri they offer! There isalways a line for that but it's worth the wait. Read more
