When we moved to Lake Frederick, we were so happy to find such a great restaurant so close to home! I am a vegetarian, and the... menu had two great choices. I chose the Summer Puttanesca, which was by far the best meal I have ever had. I only wish I hadtaken a picture of it! My husband had the Szechuan Pepper Seared Albacore, which was also excellent. Went for brunch, and had a 5star experience: great service, fantastic food and nice atmosphere. There was plenty of space... between tables, and it felt very covid-safe; staff all wore good masks. We had brunch here last July and it was so lovely. We had the gazpacho, pork bowl, and eggs benedict and everything was... delicious! The atmosphere is so cozy. Really cool to have a restaurant like this in such a tiny, adorable town. Great service,too! We?ve been to their general store several times and my understanding is they share the same kitchen. What a perfectly delightful meal. The ambiance in front of the rustic fireplace set the tone for the subsequent 3 courses. Each... dish was thoughtfully prepared and each bite was bursting with flavor. The drinks were fabulous and so was the bread. I wish Ihad taken pictures of each dish but a greedily dug in.
