There is a hunan wok in my hometown of plainfield nj and its the best so when i saw this one i had to get some...biggest mistake... of my life...usually when u go in a chinese place you get that Chinese food smell but here it smelled like they killed a couplecats and left the corpse sitting out...there was junk everywhere and dirty sinks and everything....the food wasdisgusting...everything i got fried was over cooked and burnt....my boneless spare ribs were burnt...50 bucks down thedrain...this is hands down the worse chinese place in jersey...im not a hater just honest...i dont recommend this place toanybody Read more
First time and the last time! If you just want the fast Chinese food for Americans it might be OK. Do not expect anything that... requires skill. I ordered the Orange Beef and it was the worst I have ever had. They fried the beef and keep it in the freezer.When order comes in, they just re-fry and tossed it in the source. It was terrible and totally totally ruined the dinner. Orangebeef requires skill and it's made from fresh beef. This is the third C restaurant that make this terrible OB. They are all smallhole in the wall delivery place. Most good Chinese restaurants have been closed. There are only two I found that serve authenticorange beef in EB, East B Chinese restaurants next to the CVS on Ruth Lane and the Golden East in the Shop Rite shoppingcenter. On this date at 4pm I walked in this restaurant. Not only was I greeted horribly but I also ordered (scallops and crabsticks)... the young girl looked me directly into my glasses understood me then proceeded to charge my card for 16 dollars u.s. when I gotthe bag from the counter I received steamed vegetables with white rice and shrimp. I?ve been coming here for years it?s our go to in the family and since covid I haven?t been ordering ive decided to give it a... try yesterday and boy was I upset?the dish I?ve been getting for years was just gross?it was your average sweet and sour chickenand the pieces were extremely stale over cooked and burnt just not dark in color I?m not sure if it?s Bc the oil was reusedcontinuously or what happened there but all of my chicken was hard as a rock and it was just the breading Bc the chicken was soburnt that all you bit into was hard very hard meat so I do not recommend this place I would like a refund I had to throw it outand catch a flight I didn?t make it to bring it back and complain but they really need to see what they are putting on thedishes before serving the food to the public . Best Chinese food I've had in a while. All the food tasted good and order was prepared accurately. Chicken in the sesame and... General Tso was tender and not hard or crunchy like other Chinese food restaurants in the area. Definitely going to make this mygo-to Chinese spot. Read more
