Menu for Kern's Barbecue in Millsap, TX

I had the 3 meat plate and chose brisket, pulled pork and sausage. I had potato salad and marinated cucumbers for sides. I... really enjoyed everything except the pulled pork. The pork just seemed a bit dry/flavorless to me. The sides were wonderful! I'ma huge fan of both of those at this location! The brisket was delicious and sausage was great. My 2 year old liked the sausagetoo. If you haven't tried this place, I'd say at least go once. Everyone has different options on BBQ. I enjoyed it! This was mysecond time there. Read more

All these 5 and 4 star reviewers apparently don't know what BBQ is suppose to taste like. This place is nasty. If a BBQ joint... can't make Brisket right hey have no business pretending to be a BBQ joint. The turkey was so dried out I thought I was eatingturkey jerky. Mac and cheese and potatoe salad were disgusting. Only reason I finished my plate was I spent over 30 bucks forme and wife's plates. Save your time and go somewhere else. Food is great, try the banana pudding! Owner made me a signature barbeque sandwich that was awesome. Owners checked on us,... talked to us and thanked us for coming in. Will eat there again to try other food. Read more

I'm really impressed! The sliced brisket was so tender I could cut it with a plastic fork. It was tasty and lean. The plates... at my table were all full of tender barbecue and we all left full. I can't dine there often as I am from another state, butwhen back in Texas, I'll look forward to another visit! Great food! Read more
