The only tea house by Harney and Sons that you can actually sit and drink some tea as far as I know. You could start by walking... around the shop, seeing all the tea options and other cute things and then go have a tea with wonderful scones. Charming tea shop featuring a 250 variety of uniquely flavored teas made to enjoy within the store or to take or enjoy at home... .also if you have time you can stop by for lunch there menu has offerings including appetizers soups salads and sandwiches andentrees. Absolute FAVORITE tea manufacturer hands down. I live farther upstate, so I usually order online. Free shipping and always gets... here super fast (even during the holidays). Their rewards program is awesome. When I had the chance to visit the Millerton storeI was like a kid in a candy shop! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and gracious, the cafe was wonderful (so many veganoptions!), and I came home with many goodies. I agree with another reviewer. I wish I could give this more stars. The staff in both the tea tasting and lounge were fantastic.... So many wonderful teas and excellent guidance on choosing and understanding the flavor notes. The lunch was a HUGE bonus. Hadthe breakfast pizza and the apple crisp myself, while a friend had the croque monsieur on special and the scones. Highlyrecommend and can not wait to visit again! Read more
The first thing that hits you is the fragrance of the wonderful teas in the store as you walk in. The store is bright and... cheerful and they offer a great selection as well as a mailing list that you may be put on for your convenience. They have asmall restaurant with a limited menu open for lunch only until 400 pm but the sandwiches are freshly made with fresh bread andthe teas are all freshly brewed for you and brought to the table with your meal. The Manager is on the site and will greet youand help you with your needs and any questions that you may have. This is a must-see stop on your drive as you enjoy thebeautiful mountain views. Read more
