I wanted to give 4.5 stars but that's not a an option that I see. The reason for this is, they don't keep gift cards at their... location. They told me I have to go to another business in order to get one so, I was a little disappointed about that. Otherthan that minor detail, the food is always great. My kid loves this Waffle House. So this morning I come in to get a bite to eat before I go hunting. The gentleman working the grill his name is Devin... consistently had to remind this younger kid that was working with him to stay on task and to ensure he keeps the cleaning up.The kid whom I do not know his name, gave me a glass of water with a red tint in it. So I simply asked for a diet Coke and it togo glass that was absolutely covered in diet Coke on the outside. I then watched him fix a waffle for another patron and put hishand on his waffle picking something out. Just passing through decided to grab a bit and the service was Excellent the cook Walter was on point will definitely come back.
Customer service was ridiculously bad! I would have rather went to McDonald's and risked having my order messed up!
The staff is so rude. I called to place a to go order. The girl that answered said they weren?t taking phone orders so I said I... would just come in. She said okay. I arrived. I sat down and was finally greeted by one of the staff as she is slurping herdrink with a hellooo. Then I was told they weren?t doing to go orders. As they had three lined up being prepared. TO GO. Walked in at 8:15, there were only 2 families at tables and 1 young boy at the high top counter. Every other table were covered... with dirty plates and cups. After waiting 15 minutes we were asked if it was to go or are we wanting to eat in. We said wewanted to eat inside. We were told it would be a while before they could clear a table for us to sit down. Upon this we left,and will never return!
