Surprised by how poor the service was on a thursday night. Went for our anniversary. Made sure they knew when i made the.... reservation. Drinks took over 20 mins. Bread didn?t show up until after we got our appetizer. Two other groups came inafter us and got served before us. I thought because we weren?t country club members we were lower priority. This is a great restaurant in Milledgeville, and it is one of the only places that you can make a reservation. This is super... helpful if it is a busy weekend or you are dining with a large group. I would highly recommend trying the Short Rib as an entreeand the tuna as an appetizer. We look forward to returning every time we visit the lake. Read more

Went today for lunch. No hostess was there to greet us. Took a minute for someone to show up. I got the turkey wrap but could... not eat it! It was disgusting with a pitiful portion of fries. Husband asked for hot sauce which never made it to the table. No one checked to see if we needed drink refills?.or anything for that matter. They were NOT crowded either so no excuses. Make sure to call and make reservations beforehand...if not you need to get there at opening. They have amazing cocktails, and I... loved the grapefruit mojoto I had (a special) and the old fashioned. I thought the she crab soup was tasty but lacking chunks ofcrab meat. As a PA native I've had some pretty amazing crab soup in MD and the taste in this soup is very close to it. We alsogot the calamari that was a generous portion and very filling. My burger was tasty but came out medium well instead of medium.My significant other got the short rib with generous portions...and was definitely the best thing to order on the entree menu.Super delicate meat with a clean taste. Great views of the golf course (as mentioned by others) and great service. This restaurant is right on the golf course. You can... even see Lake Sinclair in the distance. I had the Beyond Burger and the Peanut Butter Pie (I think that was a daily special).For $10, the Beyond Burger was a great value - and it came with rosemary fries. Probably lower due to the service but giving the benefit of the doubt that it was just a busy reopening. We had a reservation... and weren't seated for 40 minutes. They kept saying we would be seated soon and others that came after us were seated before us.Once seated the server was friendly but we didn't see anyone for 30 minutes after seating and then had to flag someonedown. Food was good but my steak was cold. I had the steak frites which was really tasty. Our apps of pimento cheese andcalamari were really good. My drinks were tasty and well prepared.
