Me and my partner have been searching the city for ramen and this place came up multiple times as a great option. Unfortunately,... I was not a fan of the ramen and thought it lacked depth of flavor. We also tried a few of their sushi rolls and agreed that thequality of the fish was just okay. Overall, I do not think I would go back. Read more

The first time I came here was a Tuesday and my boyfriend and I were craving sushi so we decided to try it. Mike (the owner) was... making our sushi that night and he was so delightful and made the night so much fun. The flavor profile is out of the world, along with the creativity! When I first started going there I didn't even like raw fish but Mike slowly got me to like it.Definitely the best fish in the valley and best sushi environment. We go here at least twice a week!! Our custom roll is calledthe Nix Roll, it has shishito peppers, avocado and tuna on the inside and then seared blue fin tuna and lemon on top! I highlyrecommend. Read more
Now my favorite. The Tonkotsu Ramen was amazing. From the first hint of it's robust aroma; the promise of real fish and pork... bones. The taste was the most luxurious of all I've tried. It's obvious that Chef Mike's dedication to learning the craft inJapan has paid off. The noodles also, are a cut above. The egg was perfect. You won't be disappointed. Oishi nei And to makeyour meal perfection, ask Chef Mike and his team to serve up sushi omakase. Read more
Had a pretty full sampling. Shoyu ramen, miso soup, teriyaki chicken, vegetable tempura, California rolls, a dragon roll, and... yellowtail nigiri. Overall disappointing with no standouts. Miso soup was, okay, too heavy for my taste like they were using aramen base instead of a light dashi. The ramen was better, but I've definitely had better, and the noodles didn't have enoughbounce. Teriyaki chicken was, okay, a little dry and undersauced for my taste. Somewhat middle of the road when compared to theteriyaki fast food segment. Although the fast food turnover is such that they tend to get the temperature right. Veggie tempurawas a boring mix of yams with a couple of not fully battered onion rings. No carrots, no broccoli, no mushroom. The rollswere... okay. Like all good sushi, the rice is critical. On the day I went, the texture was decent, slightly more dry than Itarget, but fine. But the rice had virtually no flavor of its own. Severely lacking in vinegar and, to my taste, sweetness. It was unable to contribute to the roll as a whole therefore letting the whole experience down. The eel component of the dragonroll was cooked well, but undersauced; like the eel was intended to be eaten alone, separate from the roll it was placedon. Finally, the yellowtail nigiri. This was not okay. If a roll is a perfect bite made of 5 or 6 ingredients, and one is aletdown, you can still be... okay. But here we have 3 ingredients, fish, rice, and a little wasabi. The fish was good, therice was not, and the wasabi placed under the fish was overpowering and strange. It wasn't hot and tasted metallic. I blamedthe blood line on the fish at first, but as I continued eating I realized that the fish was fine, and the rice had no flavor, sothe culprit was the green stuff under the fish which simply tasted bad.
