We loved Vinnie's when it was just a small Italian joint with amazing pasta dishes. High quality food, but a bit pricy. So it... was always a place we would go too on some special occasions. Since the pandemic Vinnie's reopened as pretty much a take outpizza joint. Don't get me wrong, the pizza was really good. Just the way we like it. Thin, crispy, crunchy & well done. But the$18 dollar price tag seems just a bit much???? for a whole pie. It comes extremely close in taste to Ralph's Pizza in Nutley, myhome town, and also Joe's Famous Pizza in Union. We will be going back once in a while for some of the amazing tasting pastadishes they still make. Why you ask me? Besides how good the food is, the owners and staff are just so down to earth, pleasantto talk with and they give you that comfortable dinning experience you crave. Scouting for the Pizza Hunters App, Vinnie's Pan Pizza was highlight recommended. The customer service was excellent and I had a... great conversation about Pizza with Senior. This is a niche Pizzeria that has mastered the Pan Pizza. I basically ate the entirePizza on the car ride home. So would be a 5 Pie Ya Pizza for me. Absolutely the BEST pizza we have had in some time. It?s not often you get what you see. This establishment is very well... respected in the social media pizza sector. Not that 35 mins away is all that far, but it can be at times. The quality, flavor,staff? everything was truly fantastic. If you are a thin pan pizza person, you must have this. The (cheesy edges) are ourfavorite. And if you are not, you should be!!! ????. You will see ours is not cut. We request it like that so we can pop it backin the oven quick when ready to eat. Took a ride over to Vinnie's on a gorgeous Friday for lunch, our first visit to try the pan pie - as my wife said "Oh my god,... this is so delicious!" We ordered the plain pie, asked for a "little well done" - cooked perfectly - thin crust, sauce & cheeseexactly how we like it - we polished off 5 slices sitting right out front, brought the rest home for a "snack". We also orderedan eggplant, mozzarella, and broccoli rabe sandwich for dinner - absolutely delicious - bread was just the right texture for thesandwich. Had a chance to meet Peter, and wish him continued success - we will definitely be back, want to try the mushroom pienext. Treat yourself to a visit - soon! Good pizza, pick up time was way off though. Was waiting for a little while. Crust is nice and crunchy and the pizza is... seasoned and smothered all the way to the edge which is nice. Salad is a little underwhelming but not bad. Wings were terriblethough, do not bother with those if you actually like good wings. They're okay but their mango habanero sauce was surprisinglyunderwhelming. Read more
