Every meal I order at Millburn Standard is the best version of that thing I?ve ever had. The phenomenal chicken sandwich. The... tempura cauliflower appetizer. The unbeatable focaccia served with whipped butter? Whenever a friend visits, I take them hereto show off my cool town. It?s sophisticated without feeling snobby. It?s got a gorgeous interior?dark walls, a beautiful woodenbar, and lots of mirrors. Even the bathroom is fancy. When the weather is nice, they open the garage doors. And it?s easy to getto. Lot 1 is right across the street, with free parking after 6 and on Sundays. It?s one of only a few restaurants in Millburnwith a liquor license, and their cocktails are out of this world. I?ve always loved spicy margaritas, and I haven?t found onebetter than the Mother of Corsos. They change their drink and food specials all the time to take advantage of whatever is inseason. My wife and I stopped in for a quick Sunday lunch. We both absolutely LOVED our food and the service was top notch. I got the... grilled cheese and tomato soup and it was delicious. Very friendly service. They accommodated a table of six outside. We mainly had burgers and fish tacos as entrees. Also had the... broccoli croquettes, the burrata, and cauliflower bites as appetizers. All were good. The food was all good quality. I am notusually a fan of steak fries but theirs were excellent. We've been going to MS since they opened (and before when it was The Hills). They've never disappointed! We love the outdoor... seating area, the staff, the atmosphere, the interior (which is really classy and comfortable) and the food. I love that theyoftentimes have a weekly specials menu and a good variety of unique drinks. I would like to see a bigger dessert menu anddifferent types of burgers, but otherwise everything is great! Both appetizers we order were nice (sashimi and chicken wings) but the steak I ordered medium, and it turned out medium well.... The outside was burn out. Not good at all especially it was one of the expensive dishes here. The hamburger was good enough. Andthe service was ok, too. The amount of customers was fairly average. Read more
Service was great and we would highly recommend for families during lunch on Saturday and Sunday. We dined here twice over the... last 2 weekends with similar experiences. The filet kabobs, mashed potatoes, kids mac and cheese, amd butternut squash soup weresolid. The standard and mushroom burgers were mediocre. We had wine and the offerings were good. The atmosphere was nice as wesat outside and the garage doors were open. Heat lamps available outside and probably several families out on the patio withyoung kids. Would recommend. Read more
