The beginning of our experience left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths. We came in with our infant in our car seat and was... seated in a booth in a corner (which works well for us), but staff was pushy about us getting the car seat off the floor rightaway. We were working on getting her out of the seat so we could hold her, and kept being told we needed to get the car seat offthe floor. At the end of the meal they seated a group at the table next to us, including adding an additional chair at the end,yet we couldn't leave our car seat at the end of the table. I wanted to dine outside. They had booths separated by small partitions. It was along the walkway and the restaurant itself is... in a little shopping mart, so it was a little noisy from the patrons waiting to be seated, but overall it was a comfortableatmosphere. Rusty Pelican is a little on the expensive side, for me, but the food and drink were pretty good. I especially likedtheir breakfast potatoes. Service was great. They have both indoor and outdoor waiting areas, if you're still not comfortablewith indoor dining. Overall 4.5 stars and I would go again. :) Read more

Visiting from GA and saw this breakfast place and decided to go with one of my friends. The food was absolutely amazing! Had the... The cleanliness and presentation along with the aesthetics of this place is definitely a 4.5 stars. I ordered the New York... steak and eggs along with the HOME potatoes. The eggs were delicious along with the potatoes. The steak on the other hand wasdry and coarse. To the point that I needed help from A1 sauce to help me consume it. We had a 20+ minute wait, and part of which we did outside, due to very small waiting area indoors. The outside wait was a... little too cold for our taste, unfortunately. There are benches to sit on outside, but with one of our party using a cane anddifficulty walking, the bench was hard to access, as there is very little sidewalk area that the benches sit on. The food, alittle pricey, was worth the wait. The Bloody Mary's were great! The bacon ones were very good, but not the $2 more for onepiece of bacon.
