It's been a while since I've eaten at a Waffle House. First impression, a very kind and pleasant greeting from the staff.... Service was prompt, polite and friendly. The food was very good and exactly as described. We sat at the counter, watched thestaff hustle, as order after order came rolling out. The 3 guys at the grill were a machine. This is one of the better waffle houses I've been to. They were busy this morning but the staff was working hard and did a great... job. Service was horribleble. We ordered meals. Waitress brought half, meanwhile cook thought he was done and went on break. Had to... ask for silverware after half our food was brought out. Then had to get up to get our own water. Waitress brought us bill beforeshe water and silverware . Took over an hour. There has to be Better help out there. When the realized how screwed up out orderwas he went straight to cooking rest of our meal. He apologized, Waitress never did.
