Started off by waiting 5 minutes for a host, even though there was one at the stand, idly clacking away at the POS system. When... we were finally seated, ordering food and drink was quick. The real pain was waiting close to 40 minutes for 3 dishes. Thedishes were above average, but probably not worth the wait. Would recommend Mi Jalisco for large dining groups because you'llprobably be prioritized over the other guests. Read more
HORRIBLE wait. We had three kids with us and ordered very simple meals and the wait was an hour. Completely unacceptable. Three... tables that were seated after us had their food and left before us, so clearly they simply forgot about us. No apologies, nooffer to make it right. Very disappointed. Their taco salads are addictive! Friendly, clean restaurant and great menu. Chips and salsa are out of the ordinary!
So I ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla and asked them to cut it. Went to pick it up and was told my order would be $13. I was... flabbergasted at how a $7.50 quesadilla turned out to be that much. They?ve raised their prices $1, understandable due to foodhikes. Well turns out they wanted to charge me $3.50 extra for salsa which they?ve never done before when I ask for it at therestaurant not ahead of time. To top it off I found a bone in my chicken which I discovered when I bit into my UNCUT!!quesadilla, not impressed this time around. Read more
02/26/22 - Mi Jalisco has really stepped up and improved their entire experience! I'm impressed. Let me preface this by saying... that I have been patronizing this location of Mi Jalisco since 2013 and they were always a favorite of mine. Today, I receiveda take out order and the shredded beef in the taco was completely raw. I tried to call and received a full voicemailgreeting. I have also had other issues with this location in the past year, including broken glass in a drink, and foodpoisoning from bad fish. The staff are great but the food and wait times have really gone downhill lately. If you guys can'tserve safe food, PLEASE reconsider your hours/staffing levels for this location. Read more

REVIEW UPDATE: Previously, Mi Jalisco was good most nights, but sometimes inconsistent. We just had our final Mi Jalisco meal... tonight. They've gone WAAAAY downhill. Service was incredibly slow and not too friendly, and this was in a half empty restaurantwhen this place was previously packed. The food was worse than the service. Every variety of beef taco our table had wasHORRIBLE. The chicken was downright inedible. Complimentary nachos tasted bad, like the cooking oil was turning or had turnedrancid. They've definitely cut back on quality, while simultaneously raising the prices. The restaurant was too cold as theyseem to be pinching pennies on heating expenses also. Looking at other "Recent" reviews confirms that ownership here no longertakes pride in their product or service. The menus have a note stuck to them stating something along the lines of: "Sorry, ourprices have gone up due to inflation/pandemic/whatever". I have no issue with a restaurant increasing prices, it's expected.Increasing prices while simultaneously cutting quality is a recipe for failure though. When price changes are permanent, aprinted note doesn't cut it. New menus should be printed so it's not a mystery what your meal costs when ordering. A shame, aswe used to enjoy Mi Jalisco on a weekly basis. Never again. OLD REVIEW, NO LONGER VALID (Previously 4 stars): Best authenticMexican food in the Milford area. If you're really hungry, try the "Special Dinner", which is two full plates of food for adecent price. Many of the staff are exceedingly polite, but a select few, not so much. Also, on occasion, it seems thatinexperienced staff are manning the kitchen and consistency suffers as a result, but only on those off-nights. They are quick tomake things right when there are issues. Overall, a recommended Mexican eatery. Read more
