5 of us went for dinner Sunday around 5:30. First time there. Service was extremely slow. Waitress was not friendly and pretty... much didn?t come check on us often. We waited about 45 minutes for an appetizer. Bruschetta was good. We got our meals at 7 pm.An hour and half later. My son got the Porketta. It was way over cooked, and looked like garbage, he couldn?t even eat it. Weasked what he could have that was quick. She said the Chk Parm takes 2 minutes. 20 minutes later he got it. I also had theChicken Parm. It wasn?t even that good. Seemed like it was just a piece of baked chicken, not breaded. I?m in the restaurantbusiness and I know everyone/every place has an off day but the service was just that bad. I would not recommend if you arelooking for a nice place to go eat. Read more
We had an antipasto and a small pizza. Antipasto was so good. Pizza was OK. I guess I prefer Greek style pizza, but overall it... was a great meal. Service was awesome considering the place was packed! Read more
This place was horrendous. Do not let these 5 star reviews fool you. I got The gnocchi and they were terrible, the ? house made... marinara sauce? tasted like Ragu canned sauce. The lemon and white wine chicken tasted bitter. Food is terrible, is it adisgrace to authentic Italian food and Italians from Italy like myself. It is mostly old white people who are here. Read more
I am only giving a 3 star because the service at the bar was incredibly horrible. I just moved to milford and heard the place... was great.The head bartender that works Monday nights Tall skinny dark haired with a miserable face, was neglectful, Had ahorrible attitude was throwing everything everywhere tossing stuff in front of us like she had no time to spare. She was tippingover bottles and being a mess rushing around making people Is uncomfortable, like she's angry at the world. She just gave off ahorrible Vibe for the 1st time ever going there. After we ordered our food and drinks we ordered a to go dish for our daughter.She had us waiting over an hour and and ended up not even putting it in the food to be made until last minute when I asked herwhat the status was. Went for a lunch. A lot of retirees come here for drinks and lunch. There's outdoor seating during the summer. The daily lunch... option was delicious and generously served. Menu options are also great, again, portions are generous and tasty. They couldimprove on the interior lighting and hire an extra personal since the place can get crowded. Read more
Really wanted to like it here but did not have a pretty subpar first and likely last experience. Went on a whim on a Sunday... afternoon. (They also only do their pricey dinner menu Sunday apparently). The bread they brought out was stale and my friendsent back the steak tips cause the meat clearly smelled off like it had gone bad, yet they still cooked it anyways. After looking at the reviews for this Italian restaurant, I came to realize you either loved it or hated it. I decided to find... out myself, as Cafe Sorrento has been around for quite some time. We waited for a couple of minutes to be seated, but it was tobe expected as they were busy. Our waitress was Jennifer, and I thanked her for making our experience a positive one. The menuhad plenty of choices, even if you wanted something other than Italian. My husband and I will be back as they were reasonablypriced and had an abundance of menu choices which made it hard to choose. I give this place high ratings and suggest you go andtry them out, thier drinks were very pleasing also. 100 percent loved this place. Read more
