We went today (11/02/22), first time ever. It was absolutely amazing. Our waitress had the best personality and was very... attentive. We were a party of 6 and everything was spot on. Super clean, super nice people and the food was amazing. Thanks, can't wait to go back. Read more

If we could we would give the Rusty Rail 6 stars. My wife and I have stayed at Rusty Rail twice and both times were... spectacular. The suites are large and very well appointed including a full size refrigerator ? freezer. The staff is veryattentive to your every need. Jo Lynn met me at our suite and gave me a tour of the building one afternoon. We talked aboutthe long history of the building and the plans of the current owners to build more suites. The second floor is a beautifulwedding/banquet facility that can take care of all your event needs. We ate most of our meals at the first floor restaurantincluding the Sunday Brunch. Every server we had was great, appearing on cue at your table when you needed something andotherwise absent so that the people at the table can visit. The food was very good and the servers were spot of in answeringmenu questions and making recommendations. Amy, the bartender, came over to our table one evening to make sure my drink wasmade to my satisfaction. On our last afternoon, Ben, the facility manager, came over to me in the parking lot to introducehimself while I was getting ready to trailer my motorcycle. We had a great conversation about the conversion of the building toits current life. I could keep going with naming all the people that made our stay great but it would turn into the employeeroster. Whenever we are in the Mifflinburg area the Rusty Rail is where we will stay and eat. Read more

This place is amazing. About an hour north of Harrisburg, it was definitely worth the drive. Great beers. The food is... incredible and they have a great dessert list. The real treat is the building itself. Thet put so much work and money intothis place and it is immaculate. A full bar and seating area downstairs, with a gift shop. Upstairs is a game room, moreseating, another full bar and event space for 300-500 people. There is also outside seating with a fireplace. The servers werefast and polite. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other items on the menu. Read more

Easily the worst food experience we've had in the last decade of traveling through Ohio and Pennsylvania. I understand this area... is a bit of a food desert, but they just take advantage of a captive audience. For the prices they charge, they should have anactual chef on site. They don't seem to know what is in their food and cannot adjust for simple food allergies. Instead we endedup with a flavorless meal and they didn't provide any sauce (which shouldn't have been an issue, but again they don't know). Ialso ordered their steak salad and I would have been happier with a salad from a fast food joint. Unfortunately we picked up togo so the complete disappointment wasn't apparent prior to payment. Otherwise, I legitimately would have refused. I'll go to agas station instead next time. Read more

Heard there was a new chef so my Wife and I thought we would give it another try since our last awful experience. From the... moment we sat down it was a train wreck. Bartender and waitstaff were to busy chatting to even acknowledge the wife and Isitting at the bar. Started off with a warm Caesar salad on a warm plate. The beer is never consistently made. The food wasabsolutely horrific. Prices are way too high for the portion size and their location. After expressing our displeasure with thefood quality to the bartender, she said I don?t make the food. We didn?t even get a formal apology just stated they took a fewitems off the bill. No Manager or even the Chef on duty acknowledged us.Will never spend another dime in that forsaken place. As we exited the building, the hostess couldn?t take a moment to comment on our departure. Stay away. Read more
