Best Mexican food in Heber Valley! I've tried every place there is after moving here from Texas and this is the one. This place... is huge and if you weren't seated near it, you might not know, but there is a salsa bar with at least 10 different varietiesalong with pickled veggies. Their queso is made with Heber Valley cheese, and the food was seasoned perfectly. Went at lunch sodid not get to try anything from their full bar, but we will need going back soon!! The 4 stars were earned because the refried beans and rice were really good. As a picky meat eater I'm also very appreciative of... the consistency and quality of meat in the shredded beef enchiladas! However, they definitely weren't as smothered as I wouldprefer an enchilada to be; they were a bit dry. We also got the ceviche and birria tacos, those were good! The cucumbermargarita was pretty and it tasted refreshing. Though there were a lot of chunks that made it hard to get a good sip in throughthe straw. Wow!!! Visiting on vacation from SLC. I?m from California which has amazing Mexican food. I?ve been complaining since 2006 that... SLC has horrible Mexican food until now. This place is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is amazing and the Cadillacmargarita is excellent. Love the salsa bar with so many choices! Even my 2 kids approved. Read more

Lupitas was clean friendly with fresh food and great taste, the salsa bar has an amazing selection, not... sure why they have the salsa bar on the other side of the restaurant instead on the main area.the specialty drinks were not thatgreat. Service was super fast despite being short staffed. The reason I didn't give 5 stars though was that the food is just... average. The best part about this place is the salsa bar which I really appreciate. It's self serve, the variety is excellent,and it was all really fresh. Portion sizes are small in comparison to most Mexican food restaurants, and the cost is a littlehigh for the amount of food you get. Nothing spectacular about the flavors, but it was good nonetheless. If I was in town, I'dgo back but I won't make a special trip to eat there. Read more
