Loved the salad bar. Flounder was fried until it was black in places. I had to scrape the fish out. They did give me 2 pieces... to go. But, that Fisk should have never left the kitchen. Read more

We had a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious. The cheddar biscuits were so good, as was the fried shrimp. And the... collard greens were the best I've ever had. I met the lady that cooked them and she was delightful. I ate there with 20 of myfamily members and we ate in a large room, so I don't really recall what the atmosphere of the main restaurant was, but we had agreat time and my entire family was pleased with their food. Service was great! Read more

90 minutes of my life and $38. That was the fare for a shrimp po boy, shrimp wrap and 7 crab balls. During the 45 minute wait... for the crab balls, there were at least 7 to-go orders picked up. Captain Joe?s has apparently learned that they don?t need goodservice as long as the food is passable. It seems their to-go orders generate enough revenue to keep the lights on. But if theywant to thrive instead of survive, it will require slightly more effort, especially when the best restaurant in town is lessthan a mile away and less expensive. Read more

This visit was better than I expected. My last visit about 4 years ago was not a good one so it took me awhile to go back. The... food was delicious the service was very friendly the pricing and reasonable for the delicious meal. You are allowed to BYOBwhich was a definite plus. I will go back in the near future. Traveling through Georgia on the way back to North Carolina, walked in, not greeted not told where to sit and ended up standing... awkwardly around the door until we left. I love Georgia except for this place. Southern hospitality goes a long way, guess theyleft there's at the house. Read more

We were here two weeks ago and I've been wanting to review. Great place. The waitress (not sure name) was excellent.... Enthusiastic and fun! Super-low price and way too much food to finish. Go and have fun! PS-We did want corn bread but theydidn't offer. Read more

The food is okay, not great but the prices are pretty high for the area and quality. The one or two things it has going for it... is the fact they have a soup and salad bar with fruits and a dessert, and a selection of steak dinners if you want surf andturf, or are not up for seafood. They do not have low country boil but they have other fried platters and a selection ofseafood and sandwiches. Read more
