Stop paying for their food! Their food is the worst and they can't even get a heat and serve meal right! get gas and stop buying... their in store stuff they turn so much profit off the food it's insane! Wanna stop these corp types stop buying their stuff inthe store! Plus their kitchens are some of the dirtiest places in the city. Health dept really needs to take a hard look at thischain! Hi I might added the wrong review on a different location. But this is true and the location I went to. The lady cashier... rejected me because she didn?t think it was me in the picture, (My driver?s License) which had never happened to me before. I?m26 . I was trying to buy just cigarettes and I came back with my car registration and insurance to prove I am me. She stillrejected me & threatened to call the cops. I put my business out to 7 eleven across the street to buy just cigarettes. I don?tknow why this lady rejected me so badly? Was it race or?? I?m white, I?m Hispanic & Filipino. You guys need to step your breakfast game back up. The last 2 weeks I've come in, there's been NOTHING for breakfast except... maybe a couple burritos that are soggy and Bahama mamas that are hard and dry. Where's the French toast? Or breakfast bundles,or anything that's yummy?! I loved getting breakfast there ???? also, when there has been food, parts of it are still ice cold.Start my mornings off right Maverick!! ???????? The bathroom's are clean and sanitary so I commend you for that. However what business would turn away a paying customer because... they were trying to pay with a $50 bill? The cashier told me she could not break my 50 unless I was going to buy at least $35worth of product. I went to the 7-Eleven across the street to buy the exact same items and they had no problem breaking my 50. Iwould not be frustrated had I not been in a hurry this morning and the fact that the whole point of being a convenience store isto simply be convenient, well it would have been REAL convenient to not have to wasted my time at your store under theassumption you would accept my legal tender. I stop at Maverick daily, I will pass by other stores to go to Maverick. I normally get water to drink among my other... purchases. I love that if I bring my own cup, the water and ice are free. If I need their cup, at every location I have beento, it's been 27cent. Not today, the young lady at this location wanted to charge me $1.81. I told her it's water and she saidthat it's the cost of the cup. Why is this location charging $1.81 and the others only 27 cent? Read more
It's ok and most clerks are friendly, but sometimes the older guy with long hair (Harry?) is inattentive, slow moving, and... starts talking randomly about politics at the register. He also shouts everything aloud, including your birthdate if you buyanything requiring ID. Some of the food is good, but you never have any idea what will be available at any time, and the tiny 4"pizzas are like $7 lol. Need to balance that stuff out. Read more
