Outstanding experience with Blake and his team at Midlothian Mission BBQ. Had them cater our daughter?s post wedding day lunch... for our out of town guests. Brisket is pretty dry, the banana pudding is ridiculously over sweetened, and my favorite food item, the smoked turkey, has been... out of stock due to supply shortages for several months. First timer here!! Our cashier McKenzie was very helpful with explaining the menu and she was very professional. We sat down and... Paul (manager) was very polite and friendly!! He educated us on how Mission BBQ came to be and was very informative on thesauces. The staff was super engaging and created a welcoming environment! My friend ordered ribs where she wanted them more leanbut was served ribs on the fatty side. However they threw in an extra set of baby back ribs!! Great crust on the brisket, but the "moist" offering was a bit light on fat and rather dry. The fries were good but a bit over... priced and the cornbread was ok, but not any better than a box of Jiffy ???? Look forward to giving them another try down theroad. Read more
You'll love the environment, service, and food! The room is filled with old and new photos and decor that recognize and honor... our members of the armed forces. Be prepared to pause at noon every day for the National Anthem, which I appreciate. Ther BBQoptions are great and served hot and fast, with a large number of sides and sauce choices.
