First time ordering take out from Spitz Midland. The Gyro was decent , maybe a little too much onion I had to scrap some off and... it wasn't hot it was slightly warm. This was a VERY pleasant and random find for us here in Midland. The food is fully of FRESH flavors and is not completely... drowned in various seasonings. All the dishes appear to be very deliberately prepared in order to be complimentary to what it ispaired with so that no one single item is over powering. It was so good and so impressive, we went back the very next day totry additional items on the menu. The overall vibe and the decor of the restaurant are excellent. You can see the owners took great care in designing the theme. I... love how they have the wall displaying Santorini and then incorporated some of Texas into the landscape. The tables and thebathroom were clean, as was the floor. I had the Mediterranean wrap with falafel. The falafel was good and not dry. However,the wrap overall was bland. I was quite surprised by this, given all of the ingredients included in that wrap. I had the regularfries, and they were very tasty. For me, the portion was generous. I could only eat half of my wrap. You can tell that the foodis prepared with love. My experience with Mediterranean cuisine has always consisted of a bold taste with fantastic olive oiland spice flavors. I just did not see that with my meal. Given the cost, I am debating on trying the restaurant again. If Idid, I would probably get a bowl instead of a wrap. Read more

Step into Spitz and you are transported to a big city via the vibe and atmosphere. There really is nothing to compare it to in... terms of food in this area. Unique flavors and good menu choices. It was a little busy when we came in. My only complaint was itI'd a little bit warm in there and not sure how to feel about seating options. Overall a very social place and great addition toMidland! I really wanted to try something new in Midland. And, I found it! Gotta try the Cart fries *beast mode* style. They also have a... nice spin on the old fashioned, thanks to Diamond ???? and Irene ???? , our barkeep. All cocktails are excellente. Highly,highly recommend if you want to try something different.
