It was alright. Not a lot of people Sunday at 1:45pm. Had 3 rounds of drinks, 2 sets of bread, and appetizer before we could... even get salads -- not even talking about the main course meal. I don't understand how you have foods on your menu that gravygoes well with and no gravy.... steak, chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, etc. I guess that's why people go to TexasRoadhouse. ??????????? Went early Saturday and it was fantastic! Since we came early, the place was dead it was awesome! The service was fast and the... food was fresh! Our Server, Coby totally killed it!!! Super nice and answered our stupid cereal question! He has great taste incereal and amazing customer service! We left happy and satisfied! Thanks again Coby!! My wife, my son and I went to Outback this past Saturday. It was Memorial Day weekend so I didn?t know what to expect, but we... had a great experience! There weren?t many people there due to the holiday so we got seated right away. Our server was James andhe was top notch! We ordered our drinks and appetizers and had our adult beverages brought to us within minutes of ordering. Weall had steaks and they came out quickly and they tasted great! But what really impressed us was how well our server Jamestreated us. He was very attentive, polite, and super quick to get us anything that we lacked. But what we noticed is that hetreated every table that he attended to in the same way. He was awesome and we can?t express enough how much we appreciated hisattitude and professionalism. This meal was so flavorful and fresh! I hadn?t been to outback before and now I regret it!! The service was super fast and made... sure we were always taken care of, but the food was definitely the star of the show! Read more
It?s outback. You know what you want before you walk in, and you expect a certain level of quality. Though that?s not Midland?s... Outback. The bread is Outback?s, the salad is outback?s, though the rest is not. I?ve attached pictures, so you can see. Forthe ribeye I ordered it medium rare, came out medium. My wife ordered lobster and a medium steak. Came out medium well, with theoutside being well done. Drinks were great, when they came around. The restaurant was less then a 1/4th full, though my mixeddrink was empty for twenty minutes. Three workers at the front, which we sat next too, chatting away. This place can turn itaround, that would be easy. Though it needs to come from the top down. Down the road, we plan to try again. I hope it?s better.I recommend Texas Road House or Salt Grass, if you?re in the mood for a solid steak dinner and night out. Read more
Okay. Now this is going to be kinda like a "catch 22" because I really liked the service but, didn't necessarily enjoy the... food.. my wife and I went in to have dinner and were greeted and seated quickly (A+) and just a couple minutes later our serverstopped by to take the drink order and advise us that he will be right back with our drinks and some warm bread with butter(A+), again!! Finally after a few minutes of us strolling through the menu he promptly returned, took our order and then thewait was on. I ordered the Outback Ribs with a loaded baked potato and salad. My wife ordered Pineapple and Pork Medallions witha baked sweet potato and steamed vegetables.. When our food made it to the table it was truly NOT up to par with Outbackstandards! My Ribs were burnt and covered over by the sauce and my potato was raw in the center. My wife's meal didn't come outmuch better either. The Pork was extremely overcooked and over seasoned and the vegetables were still 100% raw, but the bakedsweet potato was fantastic!. Now, here's that Catch 22 I was talking about. Just because we disliked the dinner doesn't mean wedidn't like the service or the staff and the atmosphere. Our order came out like that because of an error in the kitchen and theserver and the manager did the absolute best in rectifying the problem. My wife had her meal done all over again but was stillnot satisfied and me, I'm usually very much over it and let's move on!! Bad night for whoever was in the back, maybe?! This didnot diminish the experience and interaction with the people who work in the front though!... I am not saying don't eat here, I'mjust saying if you have a valid issue with your meal then be polite and mention it, but don't make a giant stink over somethingthat is completely out of the control of your servers hands. The server was really nice, but my steak was not cooked the right way, there was butter on the little bread plate and he just... wiped it off with his finger and tried to leave us the plate! My father was just disgusted by the entire experience from theserver being super sweaty, and wearing a towel on his shoulder to just about everything, he didn?t eat what so ever because ofthis!
