Sometimes the food is good it's up and down not consistent but the main reason I won't be going back is because the owner will... over charge you I went three times me and a friend just to make sure he was doing it intentionally third time I actually caughtit so pay close attention I guess he feels if u work in the oilfield u wont miss it he is definitely money hungry and will cheatyou so I believe he has done alot of customers that way don't take my word see for your self i won't be going back and torespond to you I didn't complain about the pricing I understand inflation I complained about you over charging and that'sexactly what you did three times state of Texas u can charge 6.5 to 8.5 percent in taxes on sales what you charged was well overthat I know wat the price was on the menu your food is good actually whn it's on point as I said I went back to dine there andyou did just what u did the first couple of times I have no reason to waste my time lying about a review so if I took the timeto do this it's I'm really upset about it's wrong to do people like if you want I can post the receipts and your menu price atthe time I was there and see if I'm not speaking the truth and I'm sure it's the first time this been done I have a witness Ipurposely went in there to see if it would happen again and it by you sir and yes you do give good portion size Read more

Kool aid is the best in town catfish plate too!

They had a limited menu that wasn't worth it at all. The food was super salty, some over seasoned and the gravy and mashed... potatoes smelt sour and tasted terrible. The veggies were water logged an tasted like dirt water. The dessert display had oldcakes and one had was super old. I wouldn't go back even if the food was free. YOOOO I can't even describe how amazing this food was. The seasonings on their food hits the spot. I got the plate with chicken... strips, mac and cheese and fries which was LOADED with food for such an amazing price. Honestly I don't even like seafood and Iloved the catfish my boyfriend got. Sliced Brisket and Rib Sanwiches were great! Love the BBQ sauce, it went well with the meat and the bread. Potato salad and okra... hit the spot. Pecan pie was nice, sticky and very good. Sorry no pic of the generous portion of Pecan Pie. Will be back againsoon! Read more

Caution when you walk in open the door slowly because you might hit someone sitting behind it. Where do I start? The restaurant... is crowded. There is a table right next to the restroom, making me not want to use it even though I really needed to. Finallywent to the restroom and the door doesn't lock right. The lock is placed wrong so if someone pulls the door even it it's lockedthey will open it. And remember there is a table right by the restroom door so if your sitting on the toilet you will be seen.So be quick and do your business lol or everyone will see your business. We sat down and about 5 minutes after arriving ourdrink order was taken, 10 minutes after arriving our food order was taken. Keep in mind there were only 3 tables with customerswho had already been helped. After the hour of not getting our food we paid for our drinks and left. Also the kool-aid isextremely sweet. The waitress isn't that friendly she doesn't have customer service skills. If they were short staffed sheshould have told the customers and then we would decide if we wanted to wait so long to eat. Another thing is that the menuitems weren't that great, a bit pricey. Ended up at another near by restaurant, very fast service.
