I absolutely LOVE this place. Their food is amazing and just about everything is except the service. Their servers need to be... trained better. Used to go here more often but we moved away. I was happy to come back and visit to eat here but was disappointed by the... service. There was multiple times we had to catch our server walking by because he took so long to come by. Sadly even to takeour order or ask for Ketchup (for our kids French fries). For the lack in service by our server they make up in delicious food.So 4 stars. I would still recommend. Just pray you get a better server than we did. Read more

A friend invited me to meet her and another friend out toGuadalajara's. She said it was her favorite Mexican restaurant and... since I told her that Mexican food is my favorite she said I'd love it and our other friend agreed. It was pretty crowded andnoticably busy so we brushed off our the fact that our waiter was being short when he took our drink orders. It went downhillfrom there. He was just plain rude when taking our dinner orders. He behaved as if we were annoying him when 1 question wasasked. He brought the food out and placed it on the table without saying a word. He quickly disappeared too so we weren't ableto ask a question about one of the meals that looked different than described. Upon his return one of my friends shared that itwasn't what she ordered. He treated her as if she were lying. He called the manager over and said she ordered it and now didn'twant it. By this time the friend who invited us was mortified. She tried to smooth things over by calling the manager by nameand saying she'd pay for the incorrect order and to just box it up but the manager said no, went to the kitchen and came backwith what the 2nd friend ordered in our original order. If that were the end of it I would've been irritated but may havechucked it up to a bad day but our waiter dropped the bill on the table and suggested that we get our payments out. He actuallystood at the table! I was outdone. We paid, left, and stood outside for a couple of minutes talking because it was more than toouncomfortable to hang out at our table by this time. The staff here was amazing! Very welcoming and pleasant! This establishment was clean and created an inviting atmosphere. We... had the fish tacos and stake fajitas. The fish was delicious though battered and fried - I would have preferred it grilled. Thestake fajitas were perfectly cooked with a even amount of veggies and stake! Read more

Excellent dinner at Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant with my wonderful date (my hisband). It reminded me of my childhood when I... visited that beautiful city. The staff was all friendly, the food was served hot, and the ambiance was pleasant. There wasoriginal music which would have pleased my Costa Rican mother's ears. Prices were fair, and the quality was excellent. I wouldhave liked a little queso somewhere, but it didn't really take away from anything. This is my favorite restaurant. I?ve only had good experiences here. Great food and everyone is so nice to us!
