Good atmosphere and great view of the water. The hot lobster roll was pretty good and service was quick and friendly. They have... a second floor bar that can be rented out for events. Would recommend! Read more

The main restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the building, overlooking Easton's beach in Newport. The view is incredible. The... inside of the restaurant, while dated, is sufficiently attractive. The people here are very friendly, prices are solid, and theservice is great. We ordered chowder, the prime rib, baked stuffed lobster, margarita pizza, and the scallops with spinachrisotto (over 2 visits). The prime rib special was only $22 and included 2 sides. While fatty, as most prime rib is, it wasvery flavorful. The chowder was very flavorful and contained hints of white wine throughout. The clam cakes accompanying itwere terrible. They tasted and looked like stove-top stuffing balls with a very few clams thrown in. The scallops weredelicious as was the spinach risotto it sat atop. The baked stuffed lobster contained 10 scallops, cod, and 5 shrimp. It allcooked/steamed inside the carcass, which made the consistency overly moist/wet (but not mushy) in my opinion. The flavor wasn'texceptional but good nonetheless. The lobster was sweet and perfectly cooked. The next time I order it will be next door atthe Atlantic Grille, which is about $18 cheaper(!?). The Margarita pizza, while somewhat generic, was flavourful and crispy. I'm anxious to come back here to try their many other seafood selections. They also have the NFL Sunday Ticket which is great. Great food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. I sat at the downstairs bar, and the bartender Jennifer was AMAZING! She... is so friendly, attentive, and personable. She was very on top of everything, and her drinks were great! Only suggestion forthe owner/ manager is you should make the downstairs bar just as welcoming, and warm as your staff are. It?s so dark down there, everyone that came in were going straight to the upstairs bar. The downstairs one is very cozy, but could use some candles/lights on the table and bar to make it more appeasing when people walk in, and not so dark like it?s shut down in the corner ofthe bar. Your bartender downstairs deserves more customers! Read more

Service and food were okay. Wife had the clam chowder and calamari, and the chowder was thin with not many clams. Calamari was... good, even though they originally gave us the wrong type of calamari When we did get our traditional calamari it still came withfried peppers when it shouldn't have. I had the hot lobster roll at $32.95 and was a little underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong itwas good, but I was expecting something I would want to come back for and this lobster roll wasn't that. Maybe I should havetried the cold roll. Read more

I purchased food for takeout. It was quite an expensive bill for a lobster roll with fries, and lobster bisque. Almost $50. But... coming from the Midwest every year, I craved some fresh seafood. Usually I go to Flow?s a few doors down but they were closedtoday. Looking at other reviews, I can confirm that the lobster roll wasn?t worth the price. It was a little rubbery and soggybut tasted okay. Not worth the price whatsoever. The lobster bisque wasn?t special. I actually prefer it more from places inthe Midwest. Had to eat it with crackers which I don?t like to do. No lobster chunks either. Price was also very high. Overall,it is in a convenient spot, has nice staff, and has other food I?m willing to try; so, I could go back. Just not for theseafood. Read more

Pictured- the best clam chowder we've had (we've tried 6 others in the area so far). And the loaded skins which were heavenly.... The braised short ribs were slow cooked perfection. Sauce was barely acidic but I added the risotto as a side ($3) and it wasAMAZING. a little too much spinach in the risotto and ironically the mashed potatoes and gravy did not bode well. 10/10 wouldeat here and try way more things again. Oh and my dude got the lobster roll hot and loved it. Read more

Take out wasn?t our best experience. Food was ok and we ate it all just wasn?t amazing. One of us ordered French fries as a side... and got veggies. Dinner rolls were extremely lame just slices of a sub roll essentially. Dining in is much better experience ifyou can do it. Read more

Had the breakfast rap and the corned beef hash for breakfast, and it was good. This may sound weird, but they had apple jelly on... the table, so I tried it with the hash, to mix the sweet with the salty, and it was a great choice. I would recommend it. Ourserver was friendly. The food came quick, and the burrito was delicious, plus there is a 10% discount if you are staying at theAtlantic Beach Hotel! Read more
