I was spoilt for choice but opted for goat curry, small portion of rice and boil&fry. Rice was compatible with my low carb diet... as it is prepared in the traditional Guyanese way of straining off the excess water it is cooked in, so it is less starchy andhealthier. For drinks, we had sorrell and mauby, freshly made on site! What's not to love about Indira's kitchen? And oh, did Imention that the goat curry is to die for!! The best I have ever had! The atmosphere outside makes you feel like you are in the middle of the Caribbean. The oxtail was fall off the bone and... flavorful beyond belief. My husband had the curry chicken and he was also blown away. The ladies working there were very sweet.I definitely will be returning when I am in the area again. Read more

visited this amazing place in the summer while staying up in middletown to visit family and was also stuck new york for covid.... the staff was amazing! the food tasted like Jamaican food from NYC which i been craving but wasn't in the area. They oxtail wasthe star of the restaurant. It was so good we even came back the next day! the cakes are amazing i loved it i can't wait tovisit new york next summer definitely going back and taking my whole family this time! Read more
