Service was very good. Server was very friendly. Food was ok. I had a fish sandwich. It could've been seasoned differently, ... it tasted very fishy. Fish should taste flavorful, not fishy. I didn't care for the shredded lettuce on the sandwich. A flatpiece of lettuce would've been best. Read more
Let's start with the beer. It's good. The food is ok to good, but not great. Additionally, it's overpriced even in this 2022... economy. Portions are solid though. The staff is friendly and efficient. The best part of the Crooked Hammock is the placeitself. There is a ton to do, a lot to look at and is family friendly. Worth a visit for sure! Read more
If you stuck with the kids bring em too!!! Great place to hang out- drinks are good food is good- kid friendly. After brewery... hopping we stopped in for food and drinks. The decor and furniture gives you a farm beach/family barbecue vibes which is cool.They have a wall that can be opened revealing the backyard. It is super kid friendly. You could easily drop your kid off in thebackyard grab a drink at the bar and hang out in the back. The drinks were great! Only complaint is that the shot glasses aredesigned to not give full shots. See pictures posted. My salad was excellent. My husband loved the barbecue sauce but said themeat could be better and he wasn't too crazy about the sides. Which I figured he wouldn't like by looking at it. It lookedextremely dry and looked bland. The coleslaw he didn't try because he doesn't like coleslaw. So I can't comment on it. But thecornbread was everything!!! My SIL had the pineapple wings and they were okish... the sauce that came with it did make it tastebetter though. She did like the street corn. Crooked Hammock in Middletown is one of two locations (the other is in Lewes). They have a really nice location with plenty of... seating (both indoor and outdoor), and plenty of fresh air in nice weather. The food is good and the staff is friendly. The beeris just okay by Delaware Craft Beer standards so if that is the primary reason you are going, there are better options. Ifhowever, you are looking for a fun place to hang out with good food, and decent cocktail options this is a great place to go. Read more

Came here with a few friends and had a fantastic time! The atmosphere was super chill but still a lot of fun and they even had... live music when we were there! Their outdoor space was huge with a ton of outdoor seating and outdoor games, like cornhole. Wewere also very impressed by the prices here for how good the food was and the rum buckets were fantastic. Definitely recommend! Read more
Kinda disappointed. Got some boneless wings to go and it's a small portion. When you eat in it seems like you get more but I... could be wrong. When I eat in I get a ton of other stuff so it might feel like more. But small for $15.75 in my opinion, butalso in my opinion they are super delicious.
