We had a small birthday group for a friend here and it was a great place for that! A little pricey but good portions and quality... pizza/pasta. The service there was my favorite part. The waiter was so friendly and happy! We were told the best thing aboutthis place was the dessert, so I recommend the full experience of a meal here! Read more

We found this place looking for a good looking restaurant after driving to town for a weekend trip — and then ate some of the... best Italian food we’ve had. Waitstaff was all kind and courteous, despite being slammed! Every cocktail and dish we orderedwas delicious and we were so happy we found this place! I was struggling to pick a drink (because seriously, all of thecocktails sounded delicious) and our server gave me a great rundown of what she liked about the two drinks I was decidingbetween. We also thought all of the appetizers sounded delicious and so asked her which was her favorite and it was some of thebest bruschetta I’ve had. Our entrees were also delicious, and since we took a bit of a leisurely pace eating, we were ableto save room for their delicious créeme brûlée and they even have an espresso bar so we were able to sip espressos while wehad dessert. Wonderful experience and delicious food. What a gem! Read more

Service and vibe was lovely. Food was not at all what you pay for. Pizzas came out cold and tasted only okay, friend said pasta... was good, but nowhere close to worth the price tag. Read more

Local hotel recommend I visit so I sent. Cool little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Google maps does not show how... busy it is correctly. Service was solid. The MSP pizza I ordered was amazing. I will visit again on the future. Read more

Writing this mainly to let you know: If you're trying to decide between the mushroom ravioli and anything else, get the... mushroom ravioli! Best I have EVER EVER had, every bite was amazing! The filling wasn't just mushy cheesy bits of mushroom itwas REAL mushrooms and the cream sauce was liquid gold - delicate and flavorful, not too heavy. You can't really go wrong here- everything is SO good - but I also recommend the burrata caprese appetizer - simply incredible. The crab/lemon bruschettaappetizer was good but for five of us, more than 1 was too much and definitely get the burrata. The beet/goat cheese salad Iwould prefer with not so much arugula - would be lighter and less overpowering to use endive. Another winner here is theshrimp/pasta combos; the shrimp is large and sweet and perfectly grilled here. We weren't super into the lemon mascarpone berrycake for dessert - would choose something else (very heavy and sweet) - the grapefruit and blood orange sorbets wereAMAZING. As always, the staff was friendly, attentive, and so helpful. Ginny was super sweet and so fun - and fast andefficient to boot! We had an amazing night at Villa Dolce and will always choose it as our Madison/Middleton spot for a specialmeal. Read more

My friends and I decided to visit during Winter Restaurant Week. For starters I had the Tomato Bisque Soup, which was full of... flavor and included croutons and a little bit of cheese in top. My entree was Braised Lamb Shoulder w/whipped potatoes, roastedvegetables and lamb demi Glace. The lamb was good and tender with hardly any fat. The veggies were good, but would've likedmore. For dessert I had the Flourless Chocolate Torte, and that was very good. All around good experience and would like to goback and try other items on the menu. Read more

It is no secret why this local restaurant has been around for as long as it has. Atmosphere, service, and food and drink... creativity and quality all contribute to its well-earned reputation. Best for groups of 4 or less, ideal for couples on a firstdate or 101st date, the dining area offers a cozy and intimate setting with low noise level. One of our favorite places. Read more
