I want to say this place is overrated. But I did not have one of the Texas wieners that they sell. What I did end up getting was... the chili cheeseburger. Great Texas Weiners! From start to finish this was a worthy lunch...I had two Texas Weiners (one with cheese) and a side of... fries..the dish came with an abundance of complete satisfaction. I asked l for extra crispy fries ..I got fries so hot andcrispy..I almost forgot about the hot dogs. The dogs themselves were also fresh and delicious. From the soft streamed bun tothe crispy snappy dog (tasted like a Thumans) to the crunchy onions to the cool tart mustard and last but not least...wonderfully flavorful chili (cheese was a nice decadent add-on)...it was a prefect composition..and exactly what I had hopedfor. The food here is great. Breakfast omelets (home of the rare and delicious Texas omelet, highly recommended), pancakes, French... toast all great. They make some of the best breakfast sandwiches around. Also home of the outstanding chilli cheeseburger withfried onions, the quintessential hamburger. The hot dogs are the big delicious ones, the Texas Weiners are perfect and theFrench fries are tough to pass up. We have been going here for years and the food stays consistently great.
