I wish there were 2 ratings. One for the staff, and another for the restaurant. The front of this Inn was shown in the start of... the Newhart show ( The Stratford ). We went to see it. When we went in the woman who ran the Inn was more than happy to show usaround. We decided to make reservations for the restaurant that night. When we returned for dinner, that same woman was stillthere. She seated us and said a waitress would be right over. The waitress was as nice as can be. I ordered ribs, and my wifeordered the shepherds pie. When the food arrived, my ribs were way over cooked, and dry. The center of the shepherds pie was rawand not very good. It may be a nice place to stay, but I would never eat there again. Read more

I recently had a Sunday brunch catered at the Inn. It was a wonderful event! The staff was consistently responsive and gracious... from the start of the planning process through to the end of the meal. We didn't stay at the inn, however we did come for dinner. Delicious. I had the ribs with mashed potato and coleslaw. Champagne... cake with fresh whipped cream and some strawberries. The food was very good and our waitress was attentive. My friend had aMaple Manhattan that she loved. Read more
We went for our anniversary weekend and could not be happier with our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and inviting. We... had a great night's sleep both nights. The manager made some great recommendations for things to see and do. We happened to bethe only guests our first night and made the most of it spending part of the evening in the cozy and homey main room. Breakfastwas excellent both mornings and dinner Friday night was also great. The recommended Texas Falls hike was not too far andabsolutely stunning and downtown Middlebury had some great galleries and shops. We will definitely be repeat guests at theWaybury Inn. Read more
