Menu for Dekies Restaurant in Lower Sackville, NS

We thought we would give Dekies Chinese Restaurant a try and we were not disappointed! We had a big lunch so we were not overly... hungry so my wife and I ordered an order of Singapore Noodles to share between us. I ordered wonton soup and my wife ordered hitand sour soup to start. My daughter ordered sweet and sour chicken balls with chicken fried rice with a spring roll which shereally enjoyed and she is a picky eater. The service was quick, and efficient. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The food wasserved hit and it was very tasty. The wonton soup had a good portion of good sized wontons and the soup was so good I actuallydrank the remaining soup even after I ate the wontons and other ingredients. Their Singapore noodles was different than thetypical Singapore noodles, but in a good way. There was a good amount of bean sprouts in it which gave it a fresh crunch thatyou typically don't get in Singapore noodles, and the portion was more than adequate which I was also impressed with (just lookat the picture which speaks for itself). Their prices were also very reasonable so we will be back to visit for sure. I spokewith the owner who also invited us back to their buffet which is on Sundays. I would love to try it but I typically work onSundays so it will probably be awhile before I get to try it, but if it is anything like the food we had, I think it is worthwhile checking out. Went today with the family for all you can eat. It was the first time going and was unsure how it would be but it was sooooo... good. I forgot to take a pic of my first plate ( I ate it to fast because it taste so good). It was 4 adults and 2 (picky)kiddos. All of us loved it. My only complaint which isn't a complaint is that I wish there would of been chicken balls and andegg dish.. but honestly it wasn't to missed. We order 3 combo last night & 3 extra egg rolls, C3, C6 & C8 the quality are fabulous & veggie are so fresh? my favorite dish... beef & broccoli , spicy chicken & egg rolls, we use to order in Kingstown but they change owner we find the food are differentthen before, quality are less, we give Dekies a try, but 100% good then we thought. Great customer service. Huge portions. I've also never had honey garlic ribs from a Chinese restaurant that have more meat then... fat till these. And the ginger beef is delicious. My new favorite! Read more
