I could have gotten fresher food at McDonalds. Cold brew tasted like old coffee grounds, fruit cup was rotten and the meat on... our breakfast sandwich looks so disgusting I can?t even eat it. While Panera historically has had great diversity and with tasty and healthy foods; I'm sorry to say that my experiences over... the last 6 months have been less than stellar. I travel so this is not specific to any one location but Panera in general. Ihave found prices to have gone up, selections are frequently unavailable or missing key ingredients, and the portions seem tohave gotten smaller. For this particular review I stopped at Michigan City to pick up a strawberry banana smoothie. I waited for10 minutes for my order and asked had they forgotten me. I was told that they were out of strawberry puree and should not haveaccepted my order to begin with. Great waiting 10 minutes for an order that wasn't even coming. Got back in my car drove down toSt Joe Michigan and when I went to order, the items I wanted were not available. So I did order a takeout for the wife and I andwhen I got back into the car to "trust and verify", they had not given me the salad for my wife but instead a chicken sandwich.Again two different Paneras the same night and I found this not to be unusual over the past 6 months. Truly an awful experience, I went in to get a light snack to hold me over. Well it?s a good thing I wasn?t to hungry because I... was so disgusted by how dirty and slimy the lettuce in my salad was. I wouldn?t even feed this soggy lettuce to a stray cat butthey have no problem serving it here. Don?t even bother talking to management because they just stare at you and tell you theycan?t help what they get sent, but you sure can help what you are feeding to paying customers! What an awful experience. Literally $8 for half a chicken ceaser salad that was disgusting. It?s not even edible. The lettuce is... all brown and slimy, and is still half frozen. I understand inflation and that prices have gone up, however the menu does notreflect the price I was charged and if I?m going to be charged $8 for half a salad, I?d like to not be throwing half of my halfsalad away. Did the rapid. Got message order is ready and waiting.. was not on shelf anddd they could not find it. I sure hope it gets... better not worse. They made my order all up again, but did not have a couple items I paid for. Gave me my money back for theitems. The food was still delightful very, very good. Read more
Used to be a really well run location. Last few times I have noticed less grown adults working, lots of standing around and the... dining and drink areas are filthy, even at 3p. Tonight they decided to close the doors 1.5 hrs early, no note, plenty ifworkers inside still standing around. Drive thru was apparently open but was taking forever for them to respond. Usually I love Panera. Here people were passive aggressive, refused to help during ordering. Food was tasty, place was clean,... but sandwiches were so small and with so little meat!! I never got "so little bang for my buck!" Spent more than $50 for 3people, we all were still hungry. I should have gone to McDonald's...!! :/ Read more
I'm basically never impressed with this location. Salads always look like someone doesn't care, they take forever to serve soup... and it's not very appetizing. I've avoided this location, but I draw the line at spending $30 on soup and bread. Especially whenyou get such small servings. If you are going to be near fine dining prices, be fine dining and not fast food. Read more
