I am giving it one star because i have to!! The deli at Blue chip is a joke. We waited 20 minutes for chicken tenders and they... were hard/over cooked. They forgot the fries and said they were going to make us fresh ones, and then handed us a bag with coldfries. 2 customers were served that came after us, so I tried getting the attention of the staff to ask about our order. Thestaff were all in the hallway laughing and talking instead of doing their jobs. It might sound goofy complaining about chickentenders, but i am tired of Blue Chip not caring about its guests. This isn't the first time our food sucked !! Why is Blue Chipproviding such horrible food and service? The food at the sports bar is a hit or miss also...but mostly a miss. How can BlueChip think this is acceptable? It's easy to blame COVID for staffing shortages but maybe Blue Chip should provide better wagesand benefits to staff the casino properly. Maybe provide better training?? There are so many dealers, bartenders and waitressthat do an amazing job there and we appreciate them. Our cashier at the deli was very nice and helpful also. Blue Chip is luckyto have them such amazing employees. But PLEASE PLEASE do something about your food quality. Read more

Over priced. No lighting to put on makeup, I had to take lamp and plug it in to see, hair dryer took over an hour to half way... dry my hair. No housekeeping, requested towels, left the dirty ones on the floor and they never took them. The deli is overpriced, huge portions of over priced food, that they microwave for you, that you can't heat up to eat later due to no microwavein the room/rooms. Only Pepsi products pretty much everywhere. Over 2 dollars for a bottle of water from the vending machines. This place is going in the toilet fast. Why pay the price with no amenities? Not worth the airfare or room prices. Save yourmoney. Read more

I've been returning to this location for the past three years, and now favor it over Four Winds in New Buffalo. Why? Because... of the large variety of older games that they have there. They certainly have newer ones, and you're CERTAINLY going toexperience a nice payout with a little close to nothing in your pocket. During my recent visit. The older games were playingwith my emotions a little...but it took one newer game, one 50 cents bet...and a few hours later, I walked out the door with alittle over $600 in my pocket! Read more

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice. My gripe is the pool area. The pool is just gross. There are huge hunks of... hair in it. They were there yesterday too. The pool and the hot tubs desperately need to be cleaned. Read more

I am in town for work and this is the hotel my employer booked. At first glance it is a very nice hotel. The rooms are large and... the shower is beautiful. However, the longer I was here, I started noticing things. While my room smelled fine, you get slappedin the face with cigarette smoke smell as soon as you walk into the hall. The heating/cooling works well, but startled me a fewtimes kicking on because it is loud. Also, for having a beautiful bathroom, I was surprised to see there is a mold/mildewproblem. Lastly, the lights work oddly. I have no idea what half of these buttons say (and they randomly shut off on me oneday), so it was a button mashing experience to get what I wanted. For as expensive as the hotel seems to be, it's not worth it. Read more

Absolutely one of the best casinos we have been to. What a very nice getaway and everything was clean and everyone was so... friendly. Definitely recommend this place for a great escape. Read more

This is gonna be a long one! Broken glass and beer bottle caps all over our floor (see the pics). Dirty pillowcases and... bedspread. Hair all over the bathroom. The curly kind.???? Two bars in the whole casino. One was closed. The other had onebarmaid. One barmaid for the whole casino!!! Then a bunch of closed off sections to move games. Half built displays and brokenmachines. Had to walk past the casino lobby to get to the pool, in our suits. Awkward. Casino security loved it. No food inthe casino during the week. Only food option is a terrible deli outside the casino. Ended up leaving and going to Local OptionBar. Highlight of the vacation. They got 5 stars, btw. It's like this casino and hotel are doing just the bare minimum to keepthe place open. The place was empty. Probably still just blaming the pandemic. Read more

We are from Michigan and decided to stay a night here (1/7/22-1/8/22) on our way home from Chicago, as far as the casino goes... staff was super nice and helpful and it seemed pretty clean and decent sized (we typically go to Detroit casinos so incomparison this was smaller), they only had two restaurants open one that required reservations so we couldn't eat there andthe other was a bar that only had a "limited menu" containing boneless chicken wings and hot dogs had to leave to go get dinnerbut The hotel was our big issue. Showing up about 2 hours after check in time. The lady at the front desk was not helpful orfriendly, we had to ask where to go to even get to our room from the lobby, where to park, she didn't even tell us our check outtime. We Asked where the best place to park to get to our room and she advised there where doors next to the side lot (appearing closest to our elevators), we parked there and every single door was locked had to walk around the outside of the building in-12 degree temperature with all of our luggage to get in the front doors. The worse part was the room, it looked to not becleaned in at least a week there was a thick coat of dust on everything and the temperature would not go below 72 degreescausing for a hot night sleep and the people in the room next to us where slamming into the walls and screaming to talk untilabout 3am waking me up constantly. For $260 a night I expect to get a room/service reflecting that price, we will not stay hereagain on any future trips to Chicago would rather choose a chain hotel for better service and half of the price. Two stars dueto the casino and casino staff making the whole night not a disappointment. Read more
