I didn't have breakfast. There were two booths available and no one waiting in line. The lady who sits customers told me that... the booths were available for someone else and we couldn't sit there. There was a customer waiting to pick up orders and hepointed at the booths. I told him that we couldn't sit there. She also told us that we had to sit at the bar. I was so upset.This was my first and last time here. I don't know which issues this lady had with us. Read more
We don't have Waffle House chains where we live so this was a treat. It's a simple breakfast place with that diner feel. We ate... here twice on our trip. Good service, great quality items and well, out of all the breakfast places we go to, you have the BESTBACON. I'm always game for 24hr diners and really, PLEASE OPEN SOME IN ILLINOIS! Read more
For the second time, I went to this place with a friend for brunch. Parking lot was not filled. Went inside. No one greeted us.... Had no idea how people got seated. Waited for 15--20 minutes. Other people got seated. Apparently you need to make a reservationto get seated. I have never made a reservation at a greasy spoon breakfast joint in my life and I ain't finna start now. Amazing Foods and Services !! All staffs are very kind and friendly! Very welcoming ???? Foods are sooo good and delicious ????... ???? Fast served less than 5 mins! The Waffle and Cheesesteak Sandwich were really good! Ms. Ellistine was trying her best to keep up with the busy time of day and... had a great attitude. I like that they bring your food out hot as soon as it's ready instead of waiting for the whole table's food to be ready. Read more
Teetee my server was great. District manager not so much. Had emailed coupon for free coffee for national coffee day. This was... sent from corporate but she would not honor it. Ordered the All Star breakfast and it came in courses, Waffle first, 6 minuteslater the eggs and hashbrowns, another 4 minutes for sausage. 8 or more employees in store and one other paying customer. Waffle House this facility was the best place that we ate during our trip from May 15th through May 18th. The servers was polite... very nice. It was like three birthday people celebrating their birthdays and they song to all of them. (Excellent customerservice skills) the food was lovely I ordered the grits bowl or extra sausage and eggs ........yummy.....???? There was alittle weight there it was okay it was well worth it. Other place that we went to McDonald's, Wendy's, licks ooh licks washorrible!!!!!! And I forgot the other dining place.
