Reviews for Pao by Paul Qui in Miami Beach, FL
Celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary there, after hearing positive reviews from family and friends. Appreciated the chill... vibe, sophisticated without pretension, with an ambiance allowing for both romantic coziness and pleasant conversation. Alsoliked the bartender's easy going attitude and honest cocktail suggestions. The menu offered interesting takes on Filipinodishes, among others, and the presentation exquisite. Recommend sampling items from the appetizer list. The service wasattentive but not intrusive. Be prepared to spend if you come hungry and valet parking is the only realistic option, but that'stypical for a Miami Beach restaurant of this caliber. We will be back (especially if they participate in Miami Spice again....) Read more
Experience dinner taste Short Ribs cooked for 72 hours very soft and excellent flavor, sparkling wine and Chocolate Stone. The... menu doesn?t have any pictures, I recommend see different reviews for suggestions and you could go around the Faena Hotel afterdinner for some pictures. Read more
Staff is so kind, international and super nice. Food was good, I wouldn?t recommend the Hamachi with coconut, something about... the flavors didn?t really match. The fish was delicious though and the drinks too. Read more
Best 5-star dining I?ve ever experienced. Truly an experience and didn?t leave me feeling I should have just gone out for... tacos or a burger instead. Every detail was perfection. Don?t miss the chicken amidst all the wagyu options. It?ll change youridea of fried chicken. The only item that fell short was the cucumber salad - a tad intense with the vinegar. The crepe cakeis next level, too. Read more

As you make your way up the marbled staircase reaching Pao?s entrance, a golden dome and oval shaped dining room welcome you.... The overall modern ambiance is softened by the golden ceiling and the earthy materials (wood and moss) present throughout thedining room. The dining experience is an exciting one; the modern Asian cuisine offered at this restaurant will allow for newpleasant discoveries. Starting from the signature dish of the restaurant, ?The Unicorn? ????, (which was my personal favoriteand a MUST ORDER) to the scallop and rice noodle main course, delicate and well balanced dishes made it to our table and in ourbellies ????. A special mention goes to the Chocolate dessert as the contrast of the sorbet with the creaminess of the chocolateand caramelized fruits created different consistencies that lit fireworks ???? in my mouth. The one and only down side was theFried Chicken starter as I believe is something that can be found in mediocre Chinese restaurants because of its simplicity anddull taste. This restaurant is great for those who want to impress and share a unique culinary experience with business partnersand loved ones. I will be back expecting more! ???? Read more
Let me start by saying Pao is completely worth it. We have been to several of the Faena restaurants and we have always been... pleased, but there is something really special about Pao. I highly recommend ordering the Unicorn; amazing concept, delicious, different, shocking, everything you can expect if you like to indulge your palate. There are safer choices for the mostconservative gastronomes, but all dishes were delicious. The attention was great, the wine, and drink selection commendable. Onesuggestion I have is to try to get a table outside, we dined inside and it was a bit loud. Read more
Excellent service, great food but way overpriced for the portions. The corn icecream dessert is one of the best things I?ve ever... tasted. Cocktails are very strong, and delicious. Read more
