Love this place! I have been coming here since 2010 and the service is always great. The food is really good and the staff is... amazing. We ordered burgers and they were perfect! The cappuccino was so good and made with love. It is my fave place in SouthBeach. The hotel here is also super nice and spacious. A really nice place to stay and eat! Read more
I'll be back at Maxine's. I enjoyed the dinner, the drinks and the vibe. There was a saxophone player outside giving awesome... jazz music. Indoor had an overwhelming scent when you first walked in, but got better as you got used to it. We had theMahi-Mahi, qnd the coconut shrimp. For the drinks, we had the Bahama Papi and the Pina Colada. The service was enjoyable, and Ifelt taken care of throughout the dinner. Amazing food, good service (not the fastest but friendly and knowledgeable), great spacious patio, and reasonable prices for... generous portions. We visited several times in June for dinner and enjoyed it very much. Chicken piccata, chicken schnitzel,Cobb salad as well as Mahi-mahi were delicious! ???????????????? 100% smoke-free property. I loved the vibe of the place - it has great outdoor seating and live music? however the service was awful. We waited an hour... for 2 wraps and a sandwich. Our waitress (Ester) couldn?t be bothered when we asked about it and I had to go find someone elseto check on our food for us. Tip is automatically included she didn?t have a need to make sure we were happy I guess. Theredeeming quality was that the food actually was pretty good. Ordered dishes: - Maxine?s Burger: burger and fries was very tasty, big portion; - Hangover Burger: burger with 2 fried eggs -... also tasty; - Grilled Salmon: very big portion, especialy mushed potatoes. I loved this beautiful hotel restaurant we stumbled upon! The brunch was delicious and had many creative food options. The patio... and indoor dining areas were serenely decorated. The mimosas were a great price at only $8-10 a glass and paired nicely with thefood. The host was very kind and accommodating when we asked to be seated indoors, and our server was attentive! First time. Be aware they have items not on the menu and the menu is massive. Like beer - not on the menu and yes they have it.... So we ordered jumbo shrimp scampi and chicken empanadas. Only to be told only beef empanadas were available - also not on themenu. The shrimp was large and excellent. The empanadas were served with a non-salsa dipping sauce.
