Reviews for Juicy Gyros in Miami Beach, FL
First time at this restaurant, with the husband.. Just walking by, glad we chose this place.. Definitely recommended ????????
Amir (sp?) was very welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated the conscious choices made by the restaurant to avoid plastic... and use compostable materials (see photos). We ordered the vegetarian platter, falafel, and the lentil soup platter. All theflavors were great, the charred eggplant of the babaganoush, the yellow rice, the salads, the falafel. We really enjoyed JuicyGyros! Read more
The staff was rude and didn?t greet us, with one particular member staring at us as if we didn?t belong. We order for 5 , the... food itself was decent at most. The salad did not taste fresh and the fries were soaked with oil and way overcooked. My childreneven had severe stomach aches within a couple of minutes after eating the food. Read more
No 5 star restaurant for sure but, tasty Gyros can be had here. Small place, fairly cramped but they get it done. We saw many... customers do the take out and some delivery, not by the restaurant, for their food...that should say enough, right? Read more
I ordered the felafel plate. I also come from the other side of Miami thinking that will be good. The felafel was dry and over... cooked. The rise was okay, no salt at all. They were two pieces of pita bread which was okay. Side of strange veggie which werenot fresh at all. He didn't bring any salsas so I had to ask him. No thaziki salsa, instead some white sauce. Like sowercream. The Greek salad had strange veggies bite by some animal. The vegetables are not fresh. The Olives are from a can thecheapest one from the supermarket. Not any spises. The dressing not very much, actually not at all. I definitely don't recommendthe Greek salad nor the felafel plate. I think that is fine, but not something that I would repeat again. Very ocwardservice. It should be fresh for this money. No. I personally wouldn't go there again. Read more
I finally had the chance to stop in here and eat. I had the #1 which is a traditional Gyro. Meat was Lamb and Beef combo. They... sliced the meat into long cube shapes, which if you eat it wrong, can fall out of the pita. The pita was very tasty as well, andthe sauce was very tasty. Fries were cooked nice and crispy. Ammir is very hospitable and welcoming to the customers. I give 5stars because food was great and the service made the experience enjoyable. Read more
***ITS HALAL*** Great to be back after 4 years. I used to live in Florida for some time until i moved back to New York. I used... to come to this place often. It was so worth coming back and having the food again. Great service. They also deliver. Pricesmight be a bit higher than a normal take out restaurant but they food is absolutely worth it. And a lot of food options foradults and children. Not a huge sitting tho. Which is OK. Enough seating for table of 6 (Max), can combine another table butsitting area could get crammed. I got the chilly chicken gyro and wife got the philly gyro. They were both rich in flavor.Filling and nice and fresh. Fries and tenders were nice and hot. Nothing was microwaved. I also got the Lemonade which they makefresh with limes and mint leaves. It was so good i got it TWICE. A must if you want to grab something on the go or have time tosit and have delicious wRm food!
