Fast service , friendly customer service , lil bit price ice cream but the quality is good
While I want to encourage tourists to visit and support struggling businesses on Ocean Drive, I would be remiss in noting the... disappointment in the customer service at this location. After patiently waiting nearly 30 minutes to order, I am handed asloppily prepared milkshake with dripping toppings with no lid. They had none to fit a regular milkshake. I barely made it outthe door and chocolate syrup was already dripped onto my shirt. Karl Lagerfeld would have shared my reaction to the sullying ofhis design -- completely preventable if Haagen-Dazs management would have properly stocked this location. Please avoid this location. This place have not working AC and it feels like a sauna. You will be sweating like a pig before you... get ice cream. Everything inside was melting. The chocolate covered cones on the counter were dripping chocolate. Ice cream asoverpriced as we got used to is put in a scale before being handed to you and scraped exces is being put back in to the icebin. You can see in the photo this ice cream as it was handed to me looks like someone already ate quarter of it. Just looks badconsidering it was with tip over $8. And the store looked dirty, while one of the employees instead of cleaning the store bailedout while we were inside... You can see in the photo behind the ice cream.... Read more
1 person working an ice cream shop in South beach during spring break, one of the busiest times of the year. Not only 1 person,... this particular person is extremely slow and dragging her feet like she hates her job. And they want to be paid $15/hour toscoop ice cream, but can't even put forth any effort? The Haagen-Dazs icecream bar on Miami Beach was a pleasant experience. The ice-cream was good, and the staff went above and... beyond service-wise. The only downside was the prices; even despite the location, the price of a single scoop of icecream seemsquite extortionate. Read more
