I will second the review that this place is slow, BUT it's for an important reason: they make everything to order. And I do... think this makes for jucier chicken than were they sitting under a heat lamp. I'm knocking them a point because it's just soexpensive. I know it's in as trendy and high-rent an area as you'll find in possibly the ENTIRE country, but still, $25 for achicken sandwich and fries is steep for me. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy sandwich, which is a work of art tobehold, and if you are visiting South Beach, this is a solid lunch option in a cool, high-end food court near the trendiest partof South Beach. I have tried fried chicken in some of the best restaurants in... the country, but the chicken here is in another level, it?s soooooo crispy when you take a bite it?s like brittle, it?s sweetand hot and you need to do yourself a favor and try some of this goodness, you will not regret it. This place is awesome! The fried chicken is some of the best that I?ve had - sweet, tangy, spicy and crispy - with pickled... onions. Don?t skip the sweet potato biscuits with rum butter either! Just had a the spicy chicken sandwich. It was booooooom. The sauce starts sweet and gives you a surprise of heat. Chicken is... veryyy juicy and not greasy at all. The boys working here are awesome too, very patient and friendly. Highly recommend! Read more
Bear in mind that this place is VERY slow. We had to wait around 30 minutes even though there was only one order ahead of us.... Fortunately the bartenders inside TimeOut market makes pretty good drinks so you have something to enjoy while you wait. Thatsaid, the food was worth the lengthy prep time. We ordered the Jonesing hot honey chicken & waffle and it was a nice blend ofsweet and spicy (note: the spice level is very mild). Finally made it to the fabulous Chick n Jones at the Time Out Market in Miami Beach for the uber-talented, Amaris Jones? fried... chicken sandwich and jerk chicken. What a treat!
